Rainproof with technical design. This a very intelligently designed rainproof jacket. Constructed using Kinematics data the jacket is designed around the way you move. For instance the sleeves are articulated with additional articulation inside the sleeves and the fabric is 4 way stretch. Because you are likely to carry a back pack, there are no seams on top of the shoulder which also improves rain proofing.
A fabric that stops rain from getting in but allows perspiration out may sound impossible, but the principle is quite simple. Raindrops are made up of many molecules of water, while sweat is in the form of vapour, which is usually a single molecule. This evaporates from the surface of your skin, through a base layer then out through the holes in the fabric which are big enough to let the vapour out, but too small to let raindrops in. Of course the technology required to create such precisely engineered fabric is far from simple.
Breathability is reduced if there is a lot of water clinging to the outside of the fabric. A water repellent finish makes the water run off the outside of the fabric so the vapour can escape.

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Collar: Measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits.
Chest: Measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.
Waist: Measure the natural waistline.
Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.
Jacket Length: Measure from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. Then length measurement will vary depending on the style.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.-->
