Light and tough walking boots for comfort in any weather.

Hi Gear's Derwent IV Walking Boots are comfortable, lightweight and water repellent.

Their sole unit has been developed with grip and comfort in mind, incorporating ultra-light 'Comfort Walk' technology. Deep cleats give you great confidence on any terrain, shedding mud and debris so you leave the trail on the trail.

The lightweight uppers give the boot durability and strength, whilst the padded ankle collar provides support and comfort.

They're very easy to put on or take off, with easy adjustment to let you achieve the fit and tightness that works best for you.

Women's Footwear Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet.

Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Thin Leather coating

Boots fitted well and liked the style. However the Leather started to peel off. So not fit for purpose. Returned to shop for refund.

Awful borderline dangerous

Worst walking boot I have ever encountered. Impossible to tighten laces and don't hold foot well. Walking boots should prevent injury not cause them as these have. Much better cheap boots out there!

THEy say waterproof but after 6 weeks all of the leather started peeling off. Took them back to the shop to be told they aren’t for damp conditions. Seriously!! They are not fit for purpose.

Poor Quality

Look good but only lasted 3 months. On both boots the upper has separated from the sole rendering them useless. Although cheaper than the other brands, would rather go for a quality brand.

Christmas Present

I got these from my husband for Christmas, by the beginning of March the toggle that the lace threads through has come off.

Not fit for purpose

The second pair of boots from Hi Gear (first pair developed fault after 1 week) and certainly the last. Only lasted 3 months as the leather of poor quality which cracked across toes and developed a whole even though there were protected and polished often, and dried correctly, the bonding that attaches boot to sole also came adrift, a waste of money
