A groundbreaking new backpack for the hot climbs to the treks through the tundra.
Osprey's Atmos AG 50 features a worlds first fully ventilated hip belt thanks to Osprey's AntiGravity back system. This gives you unrivalled ventilation and comfort while still providing you with the support you need to carry your load evenly spread across your back.
Designed for longer trips and larger loads, the Artmos 50 cleverly distributes weight and ventilates the back in the process.
The AG AntiGravity™ backsystem and ExoForm™ are responsible for this – lifting the rucksack from your back whilst transferring the load through the large muscle groups in the legs, making a light load of even the most demanding bulk.
With multiple access points, the bag makes a breeze of locating those buried items, and the separate sleeping bag compartment with separate zip entrance, alongside the internal divider, allows you to keep things nicely organised. Twin front zipped pockets, base pocket and a top loading compartment make accessing your gear simple.
With numerous other considerations and clever design points that range from integrated rain covers and Stow-on-the-Go™ trekking pole attachments to InsideOut™ compression and removable sleeping bag straps, the Ariel 65 is a great choice for anyone who is planning a longer trip or adventure.

Amazing pack. Just the right size for a full day in the mountains (especially if you are carrying for 2!)
You hardly know its on your back. Waist belt pockets super useful and good size. Ventilation is also really good although haven't used in mid summer yet!
If you want a 50 litre pack - buy this one!

Purchased this for a 3 day hike in Scotland. Despite exploiting the size and various pockets to carry far more weight than I normally would do, I found that the weight distribution and “anti-gravity” system worked perfectly to make light of the task and I had no aches or pains or rubbing marks. Particularly liked the front loading water bottle pockets to be able to access without taking the sack on and off and the spacious belt pockets to hold glasses, iPhone, snacks - also easily accessed on the move. Last but certainly not least this is the only sack I’ve ever had that had effective ventilation to keep my back, shoulders and waistline fully dry in very hot and otherwise sweaty conditions!
