Men's Clothing size guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Collar: Measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits.

Chest: Measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.

Waist: Measure the natural waistline.

Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.

Jacket Length: Measure from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. The length measurement will vary depending on the style.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Zip flimsy

I like the pants there light weight warm but the zip is really flimsy and ready to bust any time apart from the zip there spot on. That’s why I only give 3 *

very happy

(Review for older model of this product - Hi Gear Men's Insulated Alaska Trousers (Regular))
its meant to be one of the coldest nights of the year .. I have just needed to do some emergency work to a machine in the open air .. was in a hurry so just got on and did as I was: was expecting to get very wet and very cold! I had a pair of these on and after lying in the snow for about 2 hours with the temperature certainly below freezing I was still warm and dry when I finished. I have bought quite a lot of stuff from go-outdoors recently some of it relatively expensive from well known brands .. but the purchase I am most happy with are these without a doubt .. I have bought 3 pairs, may be they wont last long but at £22 I think they are fantastic value

Wide leg

(Review for older model of this product - Hi Gear Men's Insulated Alaska Trousers (Regular))
Haven't tried them outside yet. When my husband put them on the legs were so wide he said he felt like they were in a sleeping bag. Probably made so you wear trousers underneath but the hips and waist wouldn't allow for that.

As expected

(Review for older model of this product - Hi Gear Men's Insulated Alaska Trousers (Regular))
As expected for this price. Warm, dry, light but wouldn’t want to wear them day in day out and expect them to last long.

Warm and cheap

(Review for older model of this product - Hi Gear Men's Insulated Alaska Trousers (Regular))
I bought these trousers to work in on various sites around the country. They are warm, repel water and don't hinder your movement when climbing. They were cheap enough not the get all fussy over if they got damaged. They are a bit shiny at first but you get used to it. Warm, dry quickly and hardly weigh a thing
