Men's Footwear Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Comfy Walking Boots

Good value comfortable walking boots which I've purchased previously. They aren't that waterproof but are like wearing slippers whilst walking the dog.

Appalling

If I could have given this a no star rating I would have done because these boots are absolutely rubbish. They are sold as being waterproof - they are not. Only had these for less than 3 months and only used to walk the dog but just wet grass on a playing field resulted in wet socks! Upon inspection both the inner sole and wall of the boot was wet. Returned these to Go Outdoors only to be told that they have to send these back to Karrimor. Having not heard anything from either the manufacturer of Go Outdoors for 5 weeks I called in store to vent my dissatisfaction. The manager was called and immediately agreed a refund. Overall I believe this was an example of appalling service from both a British manufacturer and Go Outdoors. My message there is - Do NOT buy these boots.

Not good

Absolutely rubbish for serious walking do not use karrimor. The major problem is they have a centre stich line running down the centre of the soul why???? The insole constantly moving around. I have tried various types and all fall apart after a few weeks. If you want a good boot spend more than £100 buy cheap buy twice

Great buy

Bought a pair of these boots and was pleasantly surprised. They are very comfortable and coped well with rough and wet terrain. Even when on wet rock the grip was good. Easy to clean and they dry out very quickly.

Only lasted four weeks!

These boots were very comfortable and supportive when new, but the poor quality quickly showed itself - after just a few days of gentle use (dog walking) the rough metal edges on the eyelets caused one of the laces to break. The insole started fraying, making the boots quite uncomfortable, and then the right sole started to come unstuck. Returned the boots to the local store for an exchange (for an alternative brand). Karrimor ought to stick to making rucksacks - their boots are woeful!

Very comfortable

My last pair of boots eventually gave in after hundreds of miles of walking over several years.
Saw these and for the price they are extremely good value.
First couple of days 'walking them in' spent in the Peak District. 30 miles of up hills and down dales without any issues.
Good grip and waterproof as long as you don't decide to go wading in them!
No blisters and no rubbing, insoles provided give a good level of support.
Great pair of boots and great value compared to some other brands.

Light on your feet

So glad I bought these boots - very light and comfortable. Certainly waterproof as recent weather has tested them. Easily worn in and cracking value "to boot".

Karrimor boots

Really good pair of boots, excellent comfort and weight with high levels of grip. I’ve worn them on a snowy hike and they were perfect, Waterproof to a point but I have also worn them for a whole day whilst out fishing, they got submerged in water and walked through thick wet grass and Heather most of the day and some water did get it in but performed really well considering the conditions.
