Men's Footwear Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Very unhappy

after buying these shoes on March 8, 2018, I was convinced that they would serve me for several years. Unfortunately, today they are suitable for deposition on garbage. They leak because they could not withstand the seams and the soles parted. what a waste of money. I will never buy shoes from this company.

Not so great

After seeing various reviews (Mostly good) and researching on different forums i decided to purchase a pair from GO.

First thing i would say when trying the boots on is that the boots are quite narrow so if you have wide feet then probably this boot is not for you, but this boot is comfy and traction wise feels fine and stable.

However the biggest flaw i found when i bought a pair was that the stitching around the front ankle had not been finished off. So i returned it the same day and ordered me another pair to be delivered to store. When i went to collect the boots the following day we opened to check the boots (Manager and team member) and yet again found the stitching to have been not finished off in the same place. So was told it probably was a dodgy batch. So in the end i didn't bother purchasing the boots which was a shame.

The biggest disappointment was that the same 2 pair of boots that were found with the dodgy stitching was put back on the shelves the same day for sale with no description to the customers that its a dodgy pair so no price decrease etc. So if you didn't check the boots properly then you would be buying a dodgy pair. So that is a major Negative on GO if that is an acceptable policy.

comfy but narrow

A good well made boot but too narrow for my feet. Like a previous pair of Merrell's I had the stitching on the toe is right where my little toe is and found it digging in after a while.

Good sturdy walking boots

Bought these boots a few weeks ago and they have proved comfortable on walks so far. I got a size 11 when I would usually wear a size 10, as a 10 would have been too small.

Fantastic but .....

I bought these chameleons 4 to 6 weeks ago. So far so good - they're light yet robust, kept my feet dry in wet conditions and fit well - and they feel like they're going to last a long time. But they have failed to give any adequate level of traction on wet rock. I know that slippery wet rock will often be a testing problem for many hiking shoes or boots - but contrary to some of the professional reviews I've read about these boots; they have been pretty terrible on wet rock. I was like Bambi on Ice when I was at Kimmeridge on the Dorset coast - or on the stone path / trailway to Durdle Door recently ..... but other walkers passing me were confidently striding along in wellies or other footwear.

I still really like the chameleons but if it's raining and you need to put your feet on wet rock they will be a real problem for you. I know there's a bit of science behind the Vibram outsole - but the designers promises definitely failed to deliver.

So I'll just need to find a more suitable hiking boot for those wet conditions - such a shame despite all of the good points the boots give.

Awesome

Really comfortable, stable and grippy. Bought as an everyday alternative to trainers and a lighter weight replacement to traditional hiking boots. Well worth the money!
