Important Christmas Information: Due to the large number of orders placed at this time of year, we cannot guarantee that home delivery orders placed after 4pm on December 20th will arrive before Christmas.
However Click & Collect from your local store will still be available right up to Christmas Eve. Please check your local stores opening hours before making a trip to store.
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Collar: Measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits.
Chest: Measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.
Waist: Measure the natural waistline.
Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.
Jacket Length: Measure from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. The length measurement will vary depending on the style.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
I work with mountain rescue and usually pick my kit on brand. Not because I like wearing labels but because time after time they deliver a consistent hard wearing practical formula. I found this jacket whilst looking for a softshell. All of the other brands available really couldn't compare to this for its features. A warm, hard wearing, well constructed softshell with a great fit.
With a great pricetag it was worth the leap if faith and I haven't been disappointed.
One of the only thicker (bonded softshells) with a hood on the market. Plenty of features you'd expect from top brands like under arm vents and inside pockets and easy hold taped zips...
You won't be disappointed with this jacket!

Great Price, Great Product!
Recently purchased this, I usually take a while trying to decide on coats although this jacket stood out over most, it provides a comfortable yet hardy jacket whilst looking smart. On use, it’s nearly 100% wind resistant and can withstand the cold pretty well. The underarm zips and very useful on brisk days. Would definitely recommend this to others for the price.

Can Brit softshell compete with the best?
A lightish jacket with good showerproof qualities. Soft lining and deep outer zip up pockets. Under arm zip vents if needed on mild days. Great large mesh pocket inside. Comfortable, and looks very good. Great Hood with soft lining for keeping out wind and light showers. Excellent soft shell that really does compete with more expensive labels.

Great British brand
After owning Oex's tent, sleeping bag and mattress, I know they make good gear! This is no exception, it's got the properties of a softshell, windproof and water repellent but... It's not as rigid as all the softshells I've tried! It's so flexible
Winter is here so a little mid layer underneath and the coat will see me through!

Great Value OEX jacket!
Very good jacket, soft and comfy in the inside and warm in a cold breeze. Held up well in light drizzle haven’t fully tested a proper wet test yet! A great value and good looking jacket, I brought my son one for school also!

Not too insulating on its own, but good to top off multiple layers.
