Blaze Mini 360º Cob Lantern battery issue
The positive terminals in the lantern are set too deep for Duracell Ultra AA batteries which means the lantern won't work. However, it did work when I changed the batteries to Energizer Lithium

Fundamental fault
This product should never have made it onto the shelves due to the battery polarity being wrong.
I nearly had a long trip to return it until I realized the fault and put the batteries in the right order.

Decent lamp, but very poor manufacturing standards.
The light gets three stars from me, its quite bright and compact. That's the good. The bad is the non functional switch, and the wrongly labelled battery compartment. The batteries, when inserted as indicated are in the wrong position. This is pretty obvious, and a quick look at the terminals should fix that. A very basic manufacturing fault that lowered my expectations immediately. And rightly so. The switch isn't working, but I can turn it on and off by twisting the base. Obviously my unit us faulty. Am I going to do the 30 mile round trip to rectify this error? No, it just isn't worth the hassle, I'll live with the faults, but caveat emptor. If I were to buy anything from this brand again I would insist on seeing the product I'd bought in a fully functional state.

What a fabulous little thing!
This lantern was used on a camping trip when we were sitting outside. It was really bright for the size of it and easily outperformed larger lights we have had. A must if space is tight.
