OEX Compression sac
Straps came away the first time I used it. Not fit for purpose. Waste of money.
Product not fit for the job
I bought this compression sack last night for my son to use this weekend on his scout expedition camp and its ripped straight away without him applying force so its not even managed to make it into his rucksack for a first use.
The single row of stitching around the top of the sack just wasn't up to the job and this product isn't fit for purpose.
I'm a Scout Leader and I'd have to actively recommend NOT to purchase this as its just not up to the job and I'm instantly £16.99 out of pocket and will have to go and buy an alternative product.
OEX - abysmyll quality - remove from shelves
These sacs have no resilience to them - better off using tissue paper - first time I pulled a strap to tighten it it sheared off from the top cover - very poor - look at the number of poor reviews - remove from sale!
Not fit for purpose.
This 'compression bag' is not strong enough to compress! It is made of material with the tensile strength of wet tissue paper. Ripped wide open just putting the sleeping bag in, long before time to compress.
Surely there are enough of us saying the same thing to get them off the shelves?

Not up to the job
The first time I tried to use this the strap came away from the fabric. Very disappointing. Do not recommend

Compression sacks need to be tough so that they can be pulled tight. With this one the strap snapped off the first time I pulled it. Not Recommended.
Not the right stuff
Unpacked the first one to find it split at top. Go Outdoors replaced without quibble.
Second one split as I was trying to get my sleeping bag in. Seems a bit flimsy and I can't imagone being able to put much compression through it.
Strap came away from the seam on my first trip. Second trip, it ripped at the seams again on the opposite end. Absolute waste of money. Would have had better results with a bin bag and packing tape.
You better up your game if you're gonna start producing your own brand because you can't charge those prices for cheap tat.
It's supposed to be a "value" range but at £17, it's way overpriced for its quality.
