Absolutely stunned that this OEX pump sack didn't fit my OEX sleeping mat. What is the point in that, can't be bothered with taking back to my nearest store
Second time using pump tuck me 1 minute 20 seconds can not fault this pump .
Bought this a couple of days ago the overall design idea is good but because the dry bag as been incorporated the stiff fastener at top
makes it difficult to get any amount of air in the the bag
Excellent I agree with gazza53. I bought 2 today and tried them out in the store in case of any leaks. From totally deflated to fully pumped. Took between 4&5 pumps it's just technique.
This is a great idea, it really is. I wish it worked.
The pump is just to hard to fill and the capacity is to small. Takes ages, like so long!! You end up giving up and puffing it in.
Not quite sure what the problem is from the other reviews. Yes it would be nice if it was included with a mat - but the mats are cheap and would be more expensive if they included the pump. Yes the design would be improved a bit if it was cyclindrical rather than two flat panels. But - it's not that hard to stick your hand inside to open it up and fill with air, roll the top down a turn or two and run your hand down to inflate. Do this 4 or 5 times and the mat is inflated with air that is as dry as you can get it without dessicant. Works fine.
This is shocking! I was given this as a present along with the Traverse mat. Very happy with the mat, this pump however is utter rubbish...It's as if they challenged the designers to come up with the worst possible design and they all went out hell for leather to outdo each other and came up with this miserable bit of useless tat, Why not a simple hand ball pump similar to those found on a manual bp machine, lightweight, compact and efficient. Come on OEX sort this out. Please!
Needed for fully inflated airbeds - without creating a moisture trap. Why not include with mattress?
Not a great design - which is a pity.
Dose the job and is easier then blowing up by lung but why ohh why oex did you not make the dry sack cylindrical and then stitch and tape or seam weld the valve on , currently the design is two flat panels welded together, great for use as dry bag but useless at catching air, if it was a cylinder the bag would stay open and it would be easy to trap the air inside.
Ive been searching for a reliable pump sack for two air mats I have but no means of blowing them up. I purchased a Reflect Thern mat from Vango in there sale .no Pump.
OEX Dry sack fitted all three
