Deflated on first ever use

Never actually used as i tested at home straight out of the bag.
Comlete failure from the first inflation from a week old purchase.

Does what it says on the tin

Used several times now and last time was over new year for a 3 night camp in the Lake District, stayed blown up and firm, no issues with any form of cold, even in sub zero conditions, during our stay.

Very cold mat, albeit relatively comfy

Packs down small and is comfortable enough if you sleep on your back. But oh my goodness, not thermal WHATSOEVER, the mat even somwhow managed to make my rab 800 down sleeping bag cold.

Excellent value!!!

Super comfy mat. Holds air well. Used for 2 months now with thermarest zlite works a treat! Ultralight weight and super affordable!!!

Not great

Went down first time out, had to pump it up 4 times through the night. Took it back and got a replacement but the same thing happened again. Shame as it packs very small and is light.

Decent but not great for side sleepers

While this is so much more comfortable than a foam mat, I could only find comfort on my back as a side sleeper. Please note, it has no insulation or thermal properties, so add a foam mat underneath!

Not worth it

I decided to get this mat as I intended to do a full week in the Lake District . Blew it up with a dry pump ect but every night I had to blow it up at least 4 times .

Very comfy mat, but by pump bag should be bundle as a deal

Pros:best value/low weight/compact. Cons:slippy, need the pump sack, not included. Slept out in a storm & tarp flooded, still stayed warm, used a 3mm foam underlay, to protect it. Extremely Impressed.

Average

Identical to one's you find on Amazon
Had to blow mine up 3 times a night.
Perks are that it is very lightweight and doesn't take up much space in the pack.
Better off with a SeaToSummit or ThermaRest

Best value mat for side sleepers

Brilliant, I was dubious as I slip off my more expensive fulcrum, however not an issue here, the honeycomb design keeps you in place, comfortable and wake up feeling fresh for the day ahead. Spot on.

THE BEST SLEEP EVER

This sleep mat is no joke. Others out there are rubbish, this is not one! I suffer with sever back pain and sleep on this fine it packs down to such a small size. Smaller than my pillow. Happy days!!

Fantastic value and comfy

This inflatable roll mat is supremely comfortable, light weight and packs into a small draw string bag. Perfect for backpacking or motorcycle adventures.

GO Recommended Product

Firstly. A disclaimer. I do work for Go.

Right, now that's over with. Let's get down to it.

Pros.
Small pack size
Lightweight
Thick enough to be comfortable for side sleepers

Cons.
Zero warmth / insulation

In summary.
For a side sleeper, finding a comfortable sleeping mat for backpacking use is an expensive pastime. SIMs are too thin and those that are thick enough are too bulky and heavy. ThermaRests are small, lightweight and expensive. But they are thick enough.

I had hoped that this mat would meet all of my requirements. Packable, yes - lightweight, yes - comfortable, yes. But sadly, zero insulation. Now I knew this when I bought it, however, I do feel the cold and camp year round.

Recommended use would be for one or two season use only. Unless you put a foam roll mat underneath it. I've not tried this, though I have used a survival blanket beneath it to see if this helped. Sadly it did not.

Lessons learnt.
If you are a side sleeper and want a lightweight, packable, comfortable and warm sleeping mat. I'm afraid you'll have to throw some cash at it, bite the bullet and go for a ThermaRest or similar. You won't regret it in the middle of a cold night.

Great if you really enjoy the outdoors (especially being on the floor)

Really cheap, comfortable, lightweight and small which makes it great for expeditions. However, I have spent more time beneath the matt than on top of it due to it being so lightweight and moveable, not for the fidgety sleeper.

Great night's sleep

Bought because of pack size and was not expecting the comfort I got, used on top of a thermarest foam mat and must say best night's sleep I have ever had, I'm a side sleeper and this mat did the trick 5 stars

Super lightweight and comfortable

Its thick enough to be comfortable, superlightweight and very cheap. It was very very quick to inflate.

I only used it for three nights.

Because its so lightweight, it doesn't feel like it would last for years, maybe I'm underestimating it. If it died after a couple of weeks I'd buy another one straight away.

Comfy but Cold and Wet

I've used Thermarest for years. Needed a small, light mat for bikepacking and couldn't afford Thermarest's version at this time. OEX looked good for the price.

Definite different in insulation. I was camping in good, fairly warm weather in May. Instantly felt the cold though the mat. Fine with down bag under me.

Woke up and thought I'd spilt water! The hollows in the mat held very small puddles of water from I presume, persperation and damp air in tent (I'm really not very sweaty!) Fine in good weather. Would not like to wake up in cold weather with this and feel damp, but having said that because the insulation is pretty guff I wouldn't take this mat camping in cold weather anyway.

Great for lightweight travel

Really impressed with pack size and comfort. Obviously not much insulation but it is was it is, a very light, compact air bed.
The shop couldn't find it at first, even they didn't realise how small it was. Wish I'd bought the dedicated pump as day after there were a few drops of moisture inside. Left in sun with valve open, fixed. Happy days

Quality for the money!!

Bought this last minute when going for a wild camp at the Rhinogs in Wales. Was well happy with how compact and light it was! Smaller than the other yellow OEX one. Wasn’t too hard to inflate and it actually stayed up through the night. I was able to test this out in store as it was on display.. I like the fact that it didn’t feel like I was sleeping on a big inflatable balloon like some of them. Overall fantastic for the price!

Good value pad

I haven't used a tonne of different pads but I really like this one. The size, weight and comfort is unbeatable for the price. It has no insulation but I found it plenty warm enough on a cold spring night in a bivvy bag in March on Exmoor with a bag that was a bit light for the season. I bought it with the dry pump and once you get the technique it's full in about 4 pumps. There was some moisture inside the morning after, not entirely sure why, maybe the cold.

It claims to be self-infating but as far as I can tell this is completely untrue, unless I have the wrong definition of self inflating. To me this would be defined as an inflatable mat. It is also a bit slippery but to me this was a minor issue.

It will be used on a longer trek in Scotland very soon so I may update this review soon. Hope this helps.
