Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under the arms and around your shoulder blades.
WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

Disappointment
After one day's walk the jacket was damaged on the pockets. It appears that the waist strap on my day pack rubbed the surface of the jacket. For a RAB product I was very surprised, I have at least four other RAB jackets which have stood years wear and tear!
Thankfully Go Outdoors were very understanding and offered a replacement or a refund. In view of my dissatisfaction with the product I decided to go for a refund.
So far RAB have no responded to my product complaint - another disappointment.

I spent all year wanting this jacket as its the only one on the market that genuinely fits my small frame well without engulfing me. However after 3/4 wears it has bobbled significantly and it gets a tuck/pull really easily. Whilst it is a lovely warm mid layer, and i am glad to have it, id of expected it to last more than a month without looking as if ive had it years.
Rab Alpha Flux Jacket
Really Pleased with this product, it is very lightweight, stretchy and fits superbly. To say how light it is it is incredibly warm but Has enough flexibility for any movement. Lovely piece of kit and very pleased at the purchase and the speedy delivery of the product. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Why is it that when you are not looking you find exactly the right item? This jacket is so comfortable and well fitting that I have discarded every other fleece and jacket and opted to wear this one. I hate the wind ripping through when out walking, but now I don't have to worry about it. If you can only buy one windproof this is it!
