Unlike typical grills, the COBB Compact BBQ can roast, bake, fry, grill and smoke food.
Convenient and easy to use, it needs just 8-10 briquettes, about 300g of charcoal or a Cobb CobbleStone to cook almost anything.
How the Cobb works:
1) Stainless steel dome with heat-resistant handle. Holes in dome ensure even ventilation for an oven effect
2) Easy-clean Teflon coated Grill Grid, drains excess fat through holes and into moat
3) Fire Basket for Cobblestone or loose briquettes
4) Stainless steel moat, for catching fat or cooking vegetables
5) Base with anti-slip rubber feet, remains stable and cool while cooking
How to light:
Add heat beads/fire starters (not required with Cobblestone)
Light up time is 15-25 minutes (4 minutes with Cobblestone)
Depending on fuel, the Cobb will provide cooking heat for up to 3 hours
Dimensions: (H)28cm x (Dia)33cm
Cooking grill diameter: 32cm
Material: Stainless steel/Mild steel/Aluminium
Suitable for outdoor use only
This bbq is ideal for our campervan. It’s fits in the boot perfectly. We have used it twice now and it is amazing. We used the Cobb cobblestones with it and they are easy to light and burn for over two hours. The bbq stays cool at the base so doesn’t burn the grass. It’s easy to clean too as the plate can go in the dishwasher. Extremely impressed with this bbq.
Excellent piece of kit for outdoor cooking, made roast potatoes and mushrooms in the moat and burgers, sausages and chicken on the grill, very tasty!
Cooks well but difficult to clean and the new design means that fat splatters against the lid, runs down the side and then drops on the outside of the Cobb making a mess and harder to clean. One big fatty mess.
Absolute brill bit of kit. We took it camping to Yorkshire in February. The base stays cool however the lid and food cook really well. Looking forward to trying different food. You may need rings for frying eggs
there's no real-life advantage to buying the more expensive versions of the Cobb - the compact pro does everything you need from jerk chicken to burgers, fish fingers, steaks, bread and ready meals.
