Compact and practical the RT Gangster Alarm Kit comes with a wireless receiver unit and three head units that will operate to a range of 100m.The three head units are waterproof, are very sensitivity and fitted with high visibility LEDs.
One key feature is a silent mode on the receiver unit!
Alarms operate on 9v battery (not included). Receiver operates on 3 x AAA 1.5v battery (not included).

Ron Thompson Gangster bite alarm set.
Found these alarms good to use.
Wouldn’t call it top quality as they do seem cheaply made but............
While using them I had a good strong wind blowing across my lines this didn’t seem to effect there use.
They picked up every bite I had excellent value for money best used with a bobbins.
Really good if you’re just starting out.
Only down side is there is no volume control on the actual bite alarm so no need for the receiver as you’ll hear the alarm,
The other downside to it is you’re spending £40+ on the set and they can’t even put in a few batteries in with the set.
Sensitivity
Without muting, or tape over the speaker holes, these alarms will drive you (and nearby anglers) bonkers. Only needed one magnet on the wheel, or a sensitivity control. They are cheap, so can't expect too much, but even the lightest gust of wind or undertow sets it all off. . . . .
For just on 60 pound these budget alarms would do the job but my receiver lost signal at night, the alarms wouldn't screw up tight on my pod, one alarm was alot quieter that the others.
