A four-season sleeping bag with hydrophobic down fill to keep you comfortable in hostile conditions.
The OEX Leviathan EV 900 is a lightweight and compact 4 season sleeping bag that will keep you warm in temperatures down to around -16°C, and still safe as low as -38°C.
The 900gsm / 600 Fill Power duck down in the Leviathan has a fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic coating, which helps it to retain loft when it gets damp, performing better than untreated down. It will retain a layer of warmth around your body more effectively, staying warmer to keep you more comfortable.
It comes with a compression stuff sack to help you optimise packing space - using the compression stuff bag, it will pack down to approximately 33cm x 27cm.
The Allied Down Feather in this sleeping bag meets the Responsible Down Standards (RDS). ETHICALLY PRODUCED. ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE. 100% SUSTAINABLE.
I did use a liner for extra warmth on the mountain as feel the cold but otherwise great sleeping bag, good inside zip to keep phone warm and draw strings get you nice and snug. Condensed well in the compression bag. Great price also.

Good overall .
I've used rab or mountain equipment bags for 30 years and was in need of a 4 season one to replace my aging rab. The price of this oex bag was very good so I took a punt. Ive used it this November in Scotland where temperatures just dipped below freezing and it was fine, just about. Positives first. This bag feels luxurious and lofts well. Nothing like looking forward to sleeping in a comfortable bag after a long hard day. Its a good size. I'm 6 ft and had plenty of space. The two draw cords work well and stay in place once pulled. Now the negatives. I am a cold sleeper and was on the cusp of being slightly uncomfortable on a couple of occasions. -16. No chance. Also the zip often snagged which was frustrating when trying to get back inside quickly after a toilet visit. I don't think it is quite as good as a 4 season rab back, but factor in the price and it's a bit of a bargain.

Excellent sleeping bag
This is an excellent sleeping bag. It is comfortable and very warm. I am always cold yet this bag kept me toasty warm on my recent trip to Stok Kangri, I camped at 5000m and was very warm every night with no additional liner needed. It comes with a small stuff bag and a large mesh storage bag. The sleeping bag is a good size with plenty of room. Highly recommended.

All of my years of camping I had borrowed other sleeping bags and just used my own liner, but I was camping near a go outdoor store and was cold the night before I headed into the shop and saw this. I had always wanted a down bag but they had always been to expensive but this one isn’t too badly priced and is the best sleeping bag I’ve ever slept in the anti snag zip is perfect as I often got the zip caught on previous bags. But the warmth is extremely good. Many thanks to the guy who recommended it

Excellent. Ordered this sleeping bag online and was delivered on time.
Top quality bag and when you compare it to other down sleeping bags of similar spec and then compare the price its not only a quality product your buying but saving on money too.
You get a storage sack to keep the bag in when not in use so as can be stored without having the bag compressed over long periods of time.
There really isn't anything negative i can say for this product so far. Much better quality than i thought it would be once receiving the bag. Really good quality materials used very soft and comfortable and i really like the design of the bag and the colour of black and lime.
Overall a very warm four season bag of excellent quality which will be my main winter bag now. Very happy with this product.

Very impressive; mostly
Fairly new to wild camping but needed a serious sleeping bag upgrade - this fitted the bill nicely. It's definitely very warm indeed and comfortable too. It lofts easily and packs down well. Only small issues are a slightly odd smell (no it isn't me!) probably from the down and the utterly useless compression sack - my £30 one has a far better one; pack it out of a compression sack around your other items. Other than that, top notch. Might compliment it with a Helios soon too.

amazing sleeping bag, packs down tiny, nice and warm when used in temps above 0 degrees, however if you were to go lower it may be a bit cold. i would buy again!

Oex sleeping bag
This is definitely a top quality sleeping bag that won't be beaten price wise. Unfortunately I'm 6.2 and it only comes to my shoulders. I measured this sleeping bag and find it to be 210cm to the top of the hood. If your 6ft tall or over you might find it to be too short. Unfortunately I had to return this which is a shame really. Packs small as well.

I bought this bag on the back of a review. I'm glad I did! Used it on a winter camp on Dartmoor where the temp dropped well below freezing. It kept me warm and cosy. Compresses down to a small size.
My only small gripe would be about the zip baffle, you have to careful not to catch it in the zip. Other than that it's a cracking bag for the money.

Great down bag
I used this recently on a sub zero trip to Dartmoor and found it extremely warm and not too claustophobic as same bags can be when cinched up. Condensation in my tent was quite heavy on the first night followed by a failed tape on the tent which results in the bag becoming damp on the outer shell. Despite this the hydrophobic down retained its left and warmth. One dlight niggle was the factory that it was easy to catch the baffle when zipping up but nothing more than a minor point in ky view. Overall very happy indeed!!!

OEX Leviathan EV 900 Sleeping Bag
Very excited to receive my OEX Leviathan EV 900 Sleeping Bag. I did a lot of shopping around for my trip to Everest Base Camp and found this little beauty. It's so warm and comfy. The compression bag is a real space saver. Great value for money and plenty of length too. The Decathlon version charges extra for the additional height! Great customer service and speedy delivery.

Excellent bag for my needs
Took this new sleeping bag out last weekend, admittedly it was not taking the bag to its extreme. However at around the 1 degree temperature in the welsh hills it stood up very well. No issues very comfortable and what a bargain!!!. Especially when you compare it to other bags with similar specifications. Great buy great bag.

Great bag, pointless compressing sack
I would give this 5 stars, it’s a great sleeping bag and easily competes with the more expensive ones, but one little thing OEX... you go to all that effort to make a great product, then you go a annoy the hell out of us by selling it with such a poorly made compression sack!!!,
Might not seem important, but we bought two of these for the Everest base camp trek ( where it is important that everything fits into the backpack), and two days in both sacks had broke on the stitching for the straps, making the sacks useless.
If your buying this product, you’ll love it, but spend a few extra pounds on a stronger compression sack, this bag is quite large when not compressed.

So far so good!
Have purchased this for an upcoming trek to Everest Base camp. So far have used it and not had any problems. Temperature control has been great, even found myself rather warm inside when sleeping (although combined with wearing thermals) look forward to the real test in a few weeks time.

I've had the Leviathan for around 5 months now and it's seen -12C at 2000m and 0C at sea level.
I love it.
The pack size is on par with the RAB Ascent range and has kept me warm, despite my attempts at otherwise.
Mild condensation reduced the down loft slightly, exactly as with the ascent 700, when camping under a tarp, though this is to be expected.
All in all, a great bag. In my eyes, it stands there, or thereabouts, as equal to the other brand equivalents and comes at a fraction of the cost.
Would recommend highly to those looking for a winter bag/women's 3 season.

GO Staff Recommended Product
I got this to take on a recent 2 week cycling trip to the Inner Hebrides where the night time temperature was due to be about -8. I have the Rab Ascent 700 but as the Leviathan has a lower comfort rating I thought I'd give it a whirl as the other OEX kit I've bought has been exceptionally good.
I'm so glad I took the plunge with this and coupled with a silk liner kept me toasty warm for the duration of the trip and the weight and pack size was also good as it fitted easily on to the bars of my fat bike in a waterproof bag.
Looks like the RAB will be relegated to a spare winter bag now as this is definitely my new favourite bag. Top work OEX.
