An inexpensive tent that can withstand the elements

This tent did spectacularly well in the worst rain the Lake District had to offer. Plenty of space for two adults and a very wet dog. The canopy is a great addition for cooking in the rain.

Festival tradegy

bought this tent 6 months ago and up till the weekend just passed we were quite happy with it. We had the odd niggle but nothing major, we don't have a tent anymore.. each and every pole snapped !

Rubbish

Front door leaks. Big puddle in front of tent. Very difficult to pack down and fit in bag. Just make the bag a bit bigger!

Amazing tent

I have had my tent now for 3 years. We have had so much fun camping with it, it hasn’t had any problems yet. We have just got back from a week alway and it is so quick and easy to put up and take down

Great value for money, just wish it had an additional porch

We have not long returned from the wettest, windiest/ thunderstorm filled 3 days in the Lakes and can not fault this tent. Out of our party of 5 families we were the only ones who stayed dry.

Fantastic

I am in the tent as i speak. It is lashing down with 20 to 30mph winds coming over the hills near Totnes. The tent is standing up to it perfectly. Warm and dry. Highly recommended tent.

Good tent, but shocking how quickly the tent poles break

However the tent poles are substandard. 1 started splitting after 2nd use. By the 4th use, 3 poles have split. Went to Go Outdoors and were advised on which replacement pole but they were wrong.

Easy to assemble

Bought this tent for camping and because of the height. Easy to assemble and straightforward. Very spacious, big living room area and bedroom.

Useless

Front door doesn't zip so inside soaking & full of bugs. Kids got it to sleep out in garden with friends.... Total waste of money

hmmmm

Bought for a festival as a budget buy from the reviews shown it looked decent. The front door design leaves the bottom open to leak, more rain meant more leaks. Worst tent ever bought. Rubbish!

Thoroughly pleased

Currently away camping in this tent down in Devon. It was bone dry inside after a very heavy storm. Very pleased with the size and how comfortably it fits our family of 4.

Sendero 6

Bought this 2 years ago, does the job for 2 of us as we like the big space but not a huge tent to take up room in the car, we bought a porch to give us that little more room but have invested in a
Vango Woburn 400 Awning Extension on eBay this year that will fit on the front.

Ideal!

We brought this tent last for our family camping trips as an upgrade from a 6 year old bargain 4 man! We are 2 adults and 2 children under 6. It is ideal! Glad we went with the 6 man as 4 man would have been a squeeze! Plenty of space, we put 4 air beds and still room in the middle! We can fit table and chairs inside with plenty of room if weather turns!
Matieral is cheap feel compared to others but it is a very cheap tent compared to others so expected it. It stayed standing in wind and rain and kept us dry so did the job expected and we didnt break the bank! Used approx 6 times in summer 2018!

First family camp

I took this on our first family camp and this tent was excellent.

I have been wild camping for years but finally persuaded my partner to go camping we bought this tent as it was cheap and if she didnt want to go after the first time then nothing really wasted.

This help up well in the weather and is plenty big enough for us and two grandkids.

The only thing this needs is a footprint and that would complete the set, I bought the tent, carpet and porch all worth getting especially the porch as this keeps any rain from rolling in from the top of the tent.

Overall excellent and worth 5 starts

Superb for the price.....

I really cant fault this tent for the price. I purchased it two years ago and have had two 2 week holidays in it with the kids. Both holidays tested it to its limit. Bright sindsuhine one week and horrendous torrential downpours (and strong winds) on the other. It excelled in both! OK there was a small puddle by the door with the constant unzipping of the door and walking in and out while its wet but I expected this in a downpour. I confess I purchased it as it was a good price and not having camped for a number if years I wasn't sure I'd go away again after the fist week away but I've been so impressed with it I've no plans to replace it ahead of our third week away. In fact I would recommend buying the canopy (which is what I'm hoping to do before next time in the hope it stops that door unzipping puddle when it's raining). A truly impressive buy I'd say

You get what you pay for

Tent is average at best. Low build quality and you can feel the cheapness. If you can guarantee no wind, no rain and stable conditions this may be ok. Just got back from a quick 2 night camp, it was windy and pouring, seems and material are poor quality and the front door at the bottom doesn't shut, so was greater in the morning by basically a lake in my tent which soaked the bedroom too.
