Easiest tent to erect I've ever owned

Had to erect once while raining needed to be out of the rain quickly, it took 10mins to get inside, shame inner tents are not available this let's a good product down

Fabulous value for money

this tent could be used for 2-3 adults not 6
Simple and ultra quick to erect, gives loads of internal space.
Need canopy to shield door from rain and two vents are not enough to stop condensation.

Apache 6

Bought this tent as I wanted a cheap no fuss tent for a group shelter for 4 people to sit in and it does the job well, so far its been on 3 outings and had no issues with wind or rain, you'll get some condensation but that's to be expected. so far I'm more than happy with this purchase.

Apache 6 tipi

This tent was the most fun I’ve had in years outdoors, this was a bargain for 90 buff. I’m a wildcamper and have multiple tents mainly small, this I bought so me and the nipper Could really have a laugh whilst camping.. as I was buying this product my friend I was with says no way I’m having one two, so while we were away we had two together on the field lol they looked cool as...... they went up in about 8-9 mins so easily, well constructed, and guyed out lolled the bomb very well thort out design (for the dolla) condensation?? Whatever it’s just physics lol no issues.. in it for 4 nights, one night had a big storm.... only one peg came out my friend next to me had two pegs come out !! That’s it no issues lol. Still only 4stars it’s not a perfect world. Peace. PS: how much room do you need in a tent lol.

Great little tent

This tent was an emergency as the tent we had brought to the campsite was useless and wouldn't go up. Had to nip to go outdoors in Keswick and but another tent at half 7 in the evening. This tent fit 2 double air beds in was easy to peg out and onlyb1 pole in the middle which just slid into place. Easily pegged out and up in 15 minutes! Great for our weekend and used as a lovely gin tent when home. Fairy lights inside, big cushions to lounge on the kids and adults loved it! Good for all sorts of occasions!

Impressed

Bought this as it was extremely light to pack on a motorcycle. It easily slept two adults and two tall teenagers as well as all our bike gear. Two nights we had strong winds and heavy rain. We all stayed warm and dry. Exceeded our expectations.

Excellent Tent

Excellent tent brought for a festival and definitely a great bargain. I was unsure about it at first as ive never had a tipi and it only being single skinned. We were hit by heavy winds and rain for 3 days and stayed completely dry and warm. When we did gey sunshine it was hot but just ooened up the door. The netted door was great too keeping flys and bugs out. Plenty of room for a double air bed, camping chairs and bags of food and clothes. I would definitely recommend this tent.

Terrible design

Me and my mates were having a great night before we went to sleep in the tent, we went to go in the tent and the pole at the top crumbed down through the roof, it ripped and we were left stranded with Fox’s and random bugs. Thank u very much

Great tent!!!!

I purchased this tent in the sale after seeing it set up in the store, At first I thought it looked very cool and I liked that it seemed easy to put up and that I could stand up in it, it is light to carry and very easy to set up, it was up in about 6 min, we camped high up on Dartmoor and it stood up against the wind no problem, it’s roomy and had enough space for 2 adults 3 kids the dog plus room for some stuff, it didn’t leak even a little however inside does get condensation on the walls even with the vents open but I’ve never had a tent that doesn’t, but I think that condensation is to be expected when you have multiple people in a confined space, It soon dried out, all of our bedding stayed dry, the ground sheet is good and doesn’t let in water, it is easy to pack away, so far I’m very happy with it and would recommend it.

I thought it was perfect...

I loved everything about this tipi since we bought it, the design, the space, the shape...

On the second day of our festival experience, there was a huge storm, and droplets of water started pouring through the seams on the sides. I thought it was holding up OK comparatively. The next morning it was LIGHTLY raining and I was woken up by heavy dripping from the ceiling! Not waterproof enough for Scotland

poor

Put it up second time out . It was high winds , but it blew tent straight down. No way could I get the inner pole back up. Very disappointing

Great festival tent!

Very impressed with this - goes up super quick, and tons of room. It's weathered two festivals so far - one with torrential rain and VERY gusty winds, and it's still standing and water tight. Very happy with it :-)

Awesome

First time camping and needed a quick tent . This was one pole!! One pole
Masses of room inside. Double bed fitted easily plus 2 chairs and room for food and bags. Put up in under 15 mins and we were first timers.
We spent a week in Wales and it survived the conditions. Cannot recommend enough. And as for value for.money, brilliant.

Good buy

I have been looking for a tipi tent for some time came across this. Wanted something big that myself my partner and my 5 kids could sleep in. This was up within 10 minutes fitted 2 double airbeds and could fit a single too. Very good value for money for what we want it for which is a couple of weekends away through the year easy to put up and away. Very pleased with purchase

Tent Broke on Second USe

This is a cheap festival tent only and suffices for a quick night under canvas or as a play tent for the kids in the garden only.

I took it out for just its second use and despite following the instructions exactly the pole went through the tent canvas and is now unusual and probably un-repairable.

Looks good, is spacious but is poorly designed. Also, if there is rain forecast you WILL need a tarp as the rain will just flow in to the tent when the door is opened otherwise...

Excellent tent!

Bought this with camping trips for myself and my daughter in mind. Used it at a festival this weekend. Had it up in less than 10 minutes, with 2 adults, but would only take a few minutes more if I was on my own. So easy! Slept 2 adults and a child with plenty of room to spare for all our stuff. It even sat 7 adults comfortably the next day! I also purchased the FT tarp to use as a porch. Both withstood winds of up to 40km/hr and torrential rain brilliantly. No movement or leaks at all. Very solid compared to some of the other tents in the camp, which didn't fare well at all. I would highly recommend this tent.

Great tent

Up in ten minutes with a great size. Good beginner tent.

Simple use - soaked every morning.

A very easy and simple tent with plenty of room. First outing with two adults and the dog saw us get soaked each morning and with even the slightest wind showing us in the condensation from the insides. Yes the tent is waterproof as we suffered several large showers; but why no tent inner?

Excellent tent!

This is my third tent. I have a one man super light tent, a two man with a large storage area, and now this one. Primarily I bought this one as I wanted one that would fit a double airbed. I could have gone for other options, but the fun-ness of this design, the simplicity, and the discounted price I got it for made it a good bet. I only camp occasionally these days but in the past I have used my two man tent probably 50+ times over the course of a year whilst cycle touring.

I recently used this tent for the first time over a weekend on Dartmoor. Upon arrival in a secluded partially sheltered field, I was greeted with persistent light rain and gusts of wind. I had also bought the tarp that you can optionally buy as a bolt on or a separate rain tarp on its own. I did try to attach this to the tent, but it was just too windy and I was worried it would rip the tent apart as it was catching in the wind.

For the first night the tarp porch wasn’t attached so I attached it the next day. On the first night when it was windy, all the tents in the field were getting battered, I didn’t feel this design suffered any worse than the others which were of multiple different designs. I was a bit worried at the time the guy ropes would rip the tent, but everything held up. The tent pegs are strong and rigid (steel I think). It has a kind of skirt which hangs over the boundary of the ground sheet. There are a couple of vents that unfold out at the top. The tent folds up to a reasonable size which is easy to carry in the supplied bag. Be careful folding it up so it fits.

I think it is important to say that a tent can only be as good as it is pitched. I was careful to pitch the tent with all guy ropes pegged in securely and evenly. I also added a separate tarp underneath the built in groundsheet of the tent to ensure a dry night (the built in ground sheet though is very good)

Given there isn’t a storage compartment, it is just one huge sleeping compartment, rain can enter in if you have the door open, into the sleeping compartment, so obviously this needs to be closed at all times when raining. The tarp porch add on eliminated that problem though. Just make sure the tarp porch doesn’t slope back towards the tent, as otherwise you get pools of water and a puddle outside the door.

You could comfortably fit two double inflatable mattress and still have a little storage space. This is advertised as a 6 man, but I think that is pushing it unless you have all your gear outside. 3-4 would be better with space for bags and shoes.

I think it would be nice to have a window in the tent, especially if it were being used as a social area on a wet day. My group had a gazebo but it did let the rain in a bit. My tent was bone dry inside apart from a little condensation.

After the camping trip I fully dried the tent out. It was still wet out so I just put it in a loose heap indoors next to a dehumidifier over night. That worked really well and will prolong the life of the tent by avoiding mould etc.

In conclusion, I really like the tent, it seems quite strong, it’s loads of fun and it is a talking point as well as a potential social hub.
