Great rope. Didn't unpack it as instructed so spend a good 10 mins unravelling, and still never twists. Kept in a rope bag. Not stiff like other brands so really easy to tie into and feels secure. Also the sheath is really low friction so pulling through on overhanging routes is much easier

Great price, nice rope
No issues for the price. Half way marker is useful. A bit of a slick coating on first use but fine after.
The sheath has stood up to some grit stone bashing but is now a little furry.

Worst Rope I've ever owned
Purchased one of these from Go Outdoors for use at a climbing wall.
Carefully unpacked so as not to create any twists in the middle of the rope. Used in a braking device that does not twist the rope.
Yet this rope twisted badly. In fact, I have never seen a climbing rope like it. Needed to be pulled through every 2-3 climbs to untwist and even then, it’s still twisted – badly.
A low price but a false economy.
The good news is that the rope found a new life as a vehicle tow-rope. I’m pleased to report that it excels at this new role.

Beal Karma 9.8mm Rope
Bought this 60m rope specifically for leading routes at the Edinburgh Climbing Center. Fantastic quality from Beal and very manageable through a standard belay device.
