Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Collar: Measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits.
Chest: Measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.
Waist: Measure the natural waistline.
Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.
Jacket Length: Measure from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. Then length measurement will vary depending on the style.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Jacket is true to size and a good fit. It feels of a good quality and is warm without being too bulky. It has lots of good features and I especially like the elasticated cuffs. Performance so far is as good as leading brands. I have previously had North Face, Rab and Kathmandu down jackets. The only downside is the colour which is quite a bold purple. I hesitated when buying because I usually go for more neutral shades but bought for £80 and thought I’d give it a go.

I bought this coat after reading the reviews as I wanted something that kept me warm but was lightweight. It was definitely put to the test when we went to Edinburgh, the weather was freezing but this jacket kept me lovely and warm. I love the way it fits into its own bag too. I would recommend this to anybody and would definitely buy another one when this one wears out.

North Ridge Women's Nord down jacket
Perfect last weekend when I was snug as a bug in my new jacket eating my fish and chips outside in the Yorkshire Dales toasty warm despite the freezing temperatures! It's light, comfortable and has good pockets and hood.

Decided to buy a down jacket after having a similar one years ago & promised myself another one.
Have not been disappointed- it is so light weight and very comfortable. Makes it so easy to move around in.
Kept me really warm in the biting winds we’ve been having recently. With all the adjustments on the hood it doesn’t fall round/over your face like some do and cuts out the wind totally.
I love it & am so pleased with it.

This is my first down jacket and I'm loving it. Its light and easy to wear, a great fit and I'm so cosy in the wind. It also handled a 2 hour walk in the snow and rain. I was as warm as toast and dry, the jacket absorbed all the wet without getting through to me. Once it was tumbled dry it was perfect again.
