Sturdy good value walking pole.

Purchased one of these recently to replace an existing walker pole, a few years old. As a regular rambler I find these reasonably sturdy and great value for money.

Didnt last more than 2 hours

Went hiking and didn't last 3 hours and not in use all the time either. Obe of the pole tips broke and also the pole bent further down. It didn't break completely but I wouldn't recommend these poles. I was walking in snow and on big stepping stones but I thought they would last a lot longer.

Good walking assistance

The pole was bought to take the load of a painful knee joint. It has helped and allows longer walks with less pain.

walking pole

I have recently taken up walking very fast, and yesterday managed to shuffle a full 8.9 kilometres. I have set my new target of 11.6 km and have invested in this walking pole to help speed me up and to keep me upright in the high winds and anticipated icy conditions

Does The Job

I was looking for a single pole, and it was the only reasonably priced one available. The rubber tip is removable to reveal a good spike for hill walking. Christened it at the weekend

Fair enough for the price...

At the price these sell at you can't complain. The pointed end wears thorough the bottom rubber after a few weeks of use but it's easy enough and cheap enough to replace the rubber . For the price they work OK although mine tend to need tightening up a few times on a day hike.

Walking Poles

Bought these to replace poles left on SWCoast path. Poles rattle a bit but proved excellent in use.

Great value

Purchased two of these to get me up (Llanberis path) and down (Miners) Mount Snowdon. Was worried they wouldn't be strong enough or long enough for me as I'm 6'7" and 19 stone. They were brilliant. Saved me at least 3 times on a slippery descent. Would definitely recommend them.

Fab for walking/climbing. Keeps me from leaning over and causing lower back pain after the longer climbs.

Great Value

For the money you can't go wrong. Same weight as my wife expensive poles and do the same job.
