Ok for £12

If you have nice weather it's worth it. Any rain Nd it will come through.

Better Than Expected

Very easy to assemble, plenty of room inside for 2 people, very sturdy in light winds, provided adequate protection from light rain, very easy to pack away. I can highly recommend this product.

Toco 2

Just had to say 5 stars for this tent. Bought it to hold our belongings while we sleep in our campervan. Last night we are camped new Newquay and we got blasted by storm Hannah. Tent still up, no rips and completely dry inside.

Very poor and Not waterproof

Brought this as I am currently homeless asked in store if it was waterproof was told it was. First night of rain bit of water came in 2nd night got worse and so on I am now having to put plastic sheet over it till I can afford better one

do not recommend

used this tent for a night, it had terrible condensation all my things were soaked through i didn't end up finishing the night it was up for about an hour and the zip even got jammed and broke so i couldn't open the tent anymore. i would recommend this tent for a little ones play tent, nothing else.

How can anyone not cope in this!

I've used my Toco 2 for two years now, backpacking around the Southwest. That includes Dartmoor. I've had rain and stayed dry. I've festivalled in it. I have not had a rip or a broken zip, the poles are still intact. I'd not pitch it on snow in high winds but if I did I expect I'd survive the experience. Sometimes I take my Berghaus Peak 3.1 instead but I trust both. The Taco 2 has a lot more room. If I want my pack really light for a trip I have a Lanshan 1 and that's even smaller. How people mess up a Taco 2 beats me, it's not flimsy and goodness knows it's not expensive. I bought it discounted at GO (in Oxford) when I needed same-day equipment. Thank you GO.

Nice little tent

Nice little tent easy to put just what we needed for the family to get changed in at the beach. At right price

Okay

Its an acceptable tent for a festival or a kids play tent, its not really suitable for anything else and is not water proof. For a "comfortable" water proof tent I'd go for something bigger and with a double/ outer cover sheet

Easy

Easy to use and put up. Very compact.

The dog preferes Quechua

Our Black Labrador previously slept in my Decathlon pop up tent (an earlier double skin one and actually a great little tent) while I generally used my Wild Country/Terra Nova Quasar. However, when I saw one of these for £12.50 I decided the dog could have her own tent. For £12.50 you really can't go wrong. I wouldn't usually recommend a single skin tent for anything, the lime green colour doesn't block out any light (not helped by being single skin) so as soon as it's light your awake or rather the dog is. It remains to be seen how waterproof it is but if I had to guess I'd say not very. It's reasonably stable once guyed down but the lack of any pegging points at the sides of groundsheet tub is a clear omission - I fashioned some from T-REX tape which work great. Still, we're talking about a £12.50 tent, and for the money the tent is incredible value. The pegs however are very poor, hair pins are thicker.

Terrible

I got this tent based on the reviews as they was okay. i took this tent to a music festival and it lasted about 2 hours before the zips broke. I couldn't close the tent. Luckily my friend had a spare room in his tent or i would be left with nothing!

Freedom Trail Toco

Excellent tent for festivals. Easy to erect and pack away. Kept the rain out.

Shame the day after I bought it, the price was halfed. Would have been nice if the staff could have advised of this!! Aside from that, good value for money

Perfect

Purchased more as a sun shade but would work perfectly well as a tent. Easy to erect and pack away no hastle and stress free. Price cant argue the value

Camping tent

Got this to go camping with my son ,was very easy to assemble and great to use in dry weather ,unfortunately we live in Scotland and it rains 90 percent of the time, found that the pocket you may use to store small items inside fills up with rain water through the stitching and that the tent itself also allows water to soak through if touched ,leaned on or slept against ,it does have a great waterproof base to collect rain water making it an excellent way to wake up in the morning ,also the inner mesh lining does not stop midges coming through ,would recommend a bigger tent if you actually want to use this for camping.

Excellent

This is and was an excellent buy for a brand new 2 man tent made from top quality materials easy to erect and very warm and cosy great for festivals or a long weekend.

Amazing tent although....

Amazing tent, lightweight easy set up and pack up, waterproof and remains upright in bad weather. HOWEVER due to it being bright green/yellow it has a bad habit of attracting any bug within a 5 mile radius ??

Great cheap tent

Purchased for our 1 & 3 year old to have as a play tent in the garden. Easy to put up and robust enough to take the rough and tumble of toddlers! Purchased when on offer so exceptional value for money

Value for money

I bought this for my four year old to use in the garden and i am very impressed. It is easy to put up and my son loves it. Well worth the price and more. I would recommend this, if you are after something quick and easy to build then this is for you.

Toco 2 Freedom trail

This tent is very light weight and very easy to put up. It stands alone with out pegs and guide lines if needed. It has a waterproof sew in ground sheet
( bathtub ) It is waterproof. The sides are steep enough that if the material was not waterproof the rain would run off anyway. The inner mesh doors have to be zipped up if its raining if not the waterproof outer cover will come in allowing water to run inside Obvious really. I think people have made this mistake and complained that water gets in. Fantastic good looking tent and really cheap.
