An inflatable tunnel tent for four that takes hardly any time to pitch. Ideal for weekends away with family and friends.

Hi Gear Airgo Solus tents are inflatable, pole-free tents with individual inflation points on each Air Tube. It's an incredibly quick pitching system that results in a sturdy, rigid tent that still has enough 'give' to cope with strong wind (premium Airgo tents have a single inflation point for all tubes, making for an even quicker ‘all in one’ pitching tent). Airgo Solus tents also use a lighter flysheet material than premium Airgo tents.

The Airgo Solus Horizon 4 Tent has a simple tunnel layout with a spacious bedroom, a large living area and big windows to give it a roomy feel and let light in.

Pre-attached luminous guylines help you to keep the tent stable in windy conditions, and remain visible in low light (especially on a crowded campsite).

There are additions to the Horizon 4 available, to make your camp even more comfortable. The Horizon 4 Carpet  will make it feel more homely by adding underfoot softness and warmth, and the Horizon 4 Footprint  will insulate and protect the floor (and make pitching the tent even easier).

  • Comes with Airgo pump, steel tent pegs, guyropes attached
  • Standing height, roomy porch/entrance - enough space for a table and chairs
  • Ideal for couples, festivals, weekend camping

Best tent ever for my needs

Just back from a windy/wet week in Cornwall. The tent was easy to put up and take down and withstood all the extreme winds and rain thrown at it! Roomy for 1, would suit 2, wouldn't recommend for 4.

Brilliant Tent!

Easy to put up (15 mins total and getting quicker with practice), sturdy, loads of room, can stand up in it, totally weatherproof (heavy rain and strong winds). Handy storage pockets - love it.

Love it!

Had this 3 years, used it 5-6 times in all weather. Easy for 1 person to put up & take down. Small for 4 pple ideal for 2. I use mine a lot by myself. Brilliant tent!

Great purchase

Having done a lot of research on all inflatable tents I purchased one from a rival store before changing my mind and spending a bit more to buy this one instead.

The main reason for this purchase was the need for a tent I could easily transport and be able to put up on my own. We that doesn’t disappoint as the tent can be put up in 25mins with one person (this has now been tried and tested a few times!) with 3 inflatable tubes and the pump included it couldn’t have been easier. Tip when packing away, roll/fold the tent towards the valves to help the air escape!

The tent is very spacious with a very good head height, plenty of room and feels light and airy with the addition of 4 windows.

One of the main advantages is the groundsheet integrated apart from around both doors but it does have the bowl design and the bottoms of the doors have really strong Velcro so this isn’t a problem.

There have been a few reviews of the tent leaking but I didn’t experience any problems. There was some condensation inside on the really cold mornings but that’s expected in any tent.

Overall this tent is fantastic and the fact I doesn’t come in a proper bag makes it even easier when packing away! The only reason for dropping a star is because it would be beneficial to have had poles to create and awning using the main door. The lack of these does not however effect the overall tent.

great bit of kit

Very easy to put up...in about 10 minutes with my 13 Yr old son. Perhaps twin guide ropes at the front and rear for more rigidity but that's If I'm being picky. A great purchase....

Ideal for us

We found the tent easy to put up with no arguments about which pole goes where because there are none. I do think however that a couple of eyelets on the front door to allow a porch to be put up would be usedful.
Plenty of living space for us two 70 something year olds too, We love it

Great buy

First use was a wet weekend, completely dry not a single leak. Was concerned about the main entrance door but all proved fine, actually a good design. Easy to erect / take down. Extremely pleased with our purchase and great value.

Great tent

Quick to put up. More solid than you think with it being inflatable. Served us well in Scotland

Nice Piece of Kit

So easy to put up and pack away, and plenty of space for stuff. Only negative is you cant get 2 double airbeds in the bedroom, so we had to have one of the beds out in the main tent. Will have to get a single bed to go with the double so it fits better

Great tent and easy to put up. Bought this as an alternative to our main tent when we only want to go away for a night or two. Only downside is getting four people in the sleeping area you can only do this on camping mats, you can't fit four airbeds or two doubles or 4 camp beds in there.

Airgo solus horizon 4 inflatable tent

Fabulous tent, easy to put up and pack away, spacious living area, only negatives would be the velcro along the bottom of the doors got clogged up with dry grass on first use, and no fly screens

Great tent

This being my first air tent, i was a bit anxious. No need its a great tent, very easy to put up and down and with practice we will get quicker and better at folding. Withstood wind and rain very well. We closed off front door to use the space for storing our gear and used the side door. Only thing is the size, we are two adults using it which was fine but it would have been cramped with four. Maybe two small children but it could be a squeeze. The footprint and carpet are a must. Good tent for weekends!

4 man air tent

Fabulous in the strongest wind, we survived a horrendous night that saw many pole tents destroyed and families packing up in the early hours, with many sleeping In their cars.
Downside, won’t fit two double air beds in, so myself and my son had to share one in the living area whilst my husband and other son slept in the sleeping room. This is a huge issue which needs addressing really, as the 4 man tent realistically only sleeps 3, a double and single fit but not two doubles.

Horizon 4

I got this when it was on offer last summer. I had three outings in it last year, one of which included 40+mph wind, downpours and a thunderstorm. This tent stood firm through all of this. No leaks or moving around. I’m currently on my third outing this year with three more booked.
There is only me and 2/3 dogs staying in it but when you are away for up to ten days it is plenty big enough. It is so easy for me to put up and away by myself and isn’t really heavy. I have had lots of positive comments about the tent.
I use poles from a previous tent to hold the door open to add some shade rather than just rolling the door up.
The only negative I can honestly say would put me off buying one of these again, is the lack of fly screens. It’s ok during the day but if it’s really hot and you want to leave the doors open until dusk, you will literally be joined my every midge in the area.
Looking forward to more holidays away in this tent, and apart from the lack of fly screens, I will honestly be sad to see it go when it’s time comes.

No fly net

Nice tent at a decent price, only complaint I have, it does not have fly screen doors.

Great tent

I suffer from severe arthritis, but even I managed this tent. I was able to put the footprint down then crawl around putting the legs in to secure the base. After a rest I say in my camping directors chair and pumped up the three inflatable ridges. A few buy roles later and all was done in under 30 minutes. An able bodied person would take a lot less time. It was fully waterproof in torrential rain for almost 24 hours and all the velcro and high ground sheeting kept everything snug and dry. Striking the tent was even quicker with just having to release the air valves and the tent took minutes to pack away. Others camping with me where so impressed that they will be investing in the same tent themselves.

Porch that fits

Although it doesn’t have a porch, this fits perfectly. There is also an ‘Airgo Horizon Air Tents’ Facebook page which is handy.

Great Tent

Great tent. Easy erection and pack away. Quick pump up process. Stayed dry - did well in a storm! Will definitely recommend.
