Haven't used it yet. The thing that I like about this was the wooden teak coloured handle. It is a pleasure to hold, much better than the standard alu shaft with machined grip. This means there is much more tactile experience. Which should help in getting the chain links out. Yes, it does look like a lighter when seen side on, but this looks at home with vintage/eroica bikes as well as newer steeds. The spring mech should keep the chain in place during the big push.
As a tool to remove chain links it works as expected. The reason I have only given it 3 stars is due to its price. It is expensive for what it is but at the time of purchase it was the only chain link removal tool in store.
