Brilliant rod

Really good rod for size, I did attach a slightly larger reel as I felt original one too small when using feathers. I have caught 5 mackerel on feathers and the rod held up beautifully.

Amazing for the price.

I bought this for going on holidays because I could easily fit it in my rucksack and I didn't expect much from it but it casts well and I've all ready caught a big eel on it. I really recommend it.

Perfect for taking on Holiday abroad.

Perfect for taking on Holiday abroad as they fit nicely into your case along with a few lures and small chubber floats etc. Definitely change the line though I don't know what breaking strain it is but on one of the two I purchased the line broke like cotton. Perfect for L.R.F. but would definitely not handle anything over 10-15lb if that, in my opinion. But as I only wanted something small for L.R.F. fishing it's 100% spot on...

Best rod ever used

Caught 26 pound konger eel on this rod and reel and had no problems. Change the line before using. But I would definitely recommend it to a friend.??

great rod but not impressed with the reel

I have caught some decent sized fish with this and it is very portable. I can fit it in my pocket. Good price. Good to take anywhere in case I come across a pace to fish whilst out and about. I usually put my own reel on as the reel supplied with it is not smooth and the line on it tangles up easily.

Telescopic fishing rod.

Bought two of these rods for grandsons to take on holiday.
Both worked perfectly well. Good value for money.

NGT Namazu Mini Rod and Reel

Bought this 5 foot set for my 5 year old Grandson.
I tried it out before he used it.
Found that the line was not good.
First cast the line tangled when leaving the reel spool.
Untangled, pulled off 30m of line and reeled back on. Still tangled on further casts.
Float fishing, not spinning so fitted new line.
When my Grandson used the rod & reel it was perfect for him. He even cast to the far side of the canal.

NGT Namazu Mini Travel Rod and Reel.

Great little rod and reel set, I took it on holiday to Majorca, not really made for sea fishing, but it coped with what I wanted it to do. Would recommend it for the price. In fact I'm going to get another one to keep in my car!

Totally avoid

bought this to take to holiday in Malta to do a bit sea fishing, sea very calm like glass. prior to buying I asked a staff member if it would be ok for sea in Med,said yes, so I bought one, small float small shot, 4 casts rod snapped. TOTAL CRAP waste of money.I know it was only a tenner save your money and buy something decent. 1st time I have had to comment on equipment from Go Outdoors normally very good, on this occasion rubbish.only gave it 1 star because it wouldn't let me send review with ZERO

loads of fun for under a tenner

It's under £10.00 so don't expect too much if you are serious about your fishing, I bought two of these as I was having a holiday with my son up the west coast of Scotland for a week. The both of us caught good few mackerel ( spinning near the Isle of Skye ) so they did the job ! 4 spinners cost half the price of both rod and reel combos, if that adds a bit of perspective. 4 stars because traveling on a motorcycle the two rods and reels took up nearly no space in a rucksack and provided loads of fun for the money, and a few free suppers at night ! They are cheaply built and the price reflects that so as the old saying goes you get what you pay for, but I certainly have no complaints ! One star lost because the line provided could've been a bit heavier, but as hinted at before, this isn't for the serious fisherman.
