HI-GEAR Aluminium Whistling Kettle (2 Litre)

It says heat resistance handle , what a joke burt my fingers straight away and it spills all over the floor when pouring. Surprised no one has took go outdoors to court. Shouldn't be selling these

Kettle doesn’t whistle and the handle burns your hand from steam.

Decided to test on domestic hob before camping. The cap doesn't seal on the spout which results in whistle not working. Use a tea towel to apply pressure to the front of the cap and it whistles.

Cheap rubbish.Handle is not secure to the kettle.
Handle is NOT heat proof... red hot to touch.
Kettle does not whistle. Really surprised this is being sold. Accident waiting to happen!

Boils water ok but if you're not a fan of pouring it into a mug but also on the floor for some reason I would avoid. Maybe mine was defect but I wouldn't buy another.

I can confirm this kettle leaks everywhere when trying to pour a cup of tea. Water went everywhere and my dog got burnt. Very expensive vet bill

Steam filters up handle, leaks when pouring, have to either pour outside away from yourself or use alternative, leaving boiling water is not good.
Whistle doesn't work either.
Will be returning

This kettle is a burn hazzard! It leaks boiling water from the spout when you pour it. Also the kettle doesnt whistle. It's not a good product at all.

the handle actually funnels scalding steam/vapour onto your hand when you pour!

High quality material and can take a few drops and bangs without damage. It is very lightweight so good for hiking and packing light.

found that it did the job nicely, just what they expected for a weekend camping. Can’t go wrong for the price

Kettle leaks when pouring, very difficult to fill, very quiet whistle. Poor product.

Does the job, not sure how long it will last!

The whistle is almost inaudible and the steam blows out of the lid release lever making the handle hot.

Can’t fill from any tap other than bog standard,handle gets hot when pouring,and whistle stopped working after day one . It’s the Range from now on .

Perfect size for 2, light and does the job

No matter how you pour this kettle the boiling water dribbles down the front of the kettle. Spent the holiday filling my tea mug in the sink. Also, the whistle is unreliable. Not fit for purpose.
