Does water heat up when used on a stove, yes. Does it then leak when you're pouring into a cup, absolutely.
It's cheap, basic and does what is needed, but I wouldn't recommend it

Great little kettle

Used with my alcohol stove and does its job well and cost very little. Whistles really well when boiling and takes me back to old school kettle on the kitchen stove :)

Very poor design

Designed to do one thing and it does it poorly. Whistle is inaudible, handle gets very hot and spout delivers water everywhere but the cup. It does boil water however, but no better than a saucepan.

Not a good camping kettle. The plastic parts of the kettle causes the water to taste like TCP. Used on two camping trip and the plastic spout has melted.

Fabulous light and portable kettle bought for camping and a festival. Works perfectly and quickly boils at least 2 mugs of tea.....for the morning after the night before! Even if it revives you from a night lacking in sleep due to over zealous festival goers -it does the trick using very little gas! Renewed Go Outdoor membership and made a tidy saving on a collection of goods.

Makes the best cuppa i have had all week! Get 2 mugs out of one boil, pours in to the cups like a champ and has a whistel any builder would be proud of.. if you need a camping kettle for 2 people you have the right product and with your go outdoors card you cant go wrong
