I purchased this two months ago for sea fishing shock leader as the equivalent poundage was 77lbs. £6 or thereabouts for 150 meters.
It is slim, soft mono that I liked the look of, how wrong could I be.
I attached this to my mainline to act as a sea fishing shock leader. I had a snap off first cast using an overhead thump which went at 90 degrees which could have killed someone. Second cast, same rod and reel with overhead thump, snap off way into the Bristol Channel. Not impressed. Two Gemini bait release sinkers gone. Please note that the line was kept in the dark as all my mono is when not in use.
Subsequent tests with a tucked blood knot and Gemini clip held in pliers and pulled by hand on the line, it snapped on each occasion at the knot.
This line has no knot strength and could at best be used for snoods.
Avoid at all costs for a shock leader material as it is too weak and knot strength is terrible.
Probably the reason why it is now discounted.
