Perfect little wild camping tent for the price for one!
I like this tent. It's pretty lightweight. It's a cheap tent. Space is ok. I use it for one. I am 5ft 7 and can sit up in it (you sleep head towards door). Has a handy porch. I use micro tarp with it.

Thought tent seemed good value and as aVango expected it to be reliable. Sadly the second time it was used the back pole snapped Do you supply replacement poles? If not tent is now wrecked

Good value - but read on
I got this tent originally for a Glastonbury Festival trip, but it's also seen action up in the lakes in bad weather - absolutely fine.
Very quick inner first pitching, two pole, and reasonable quality. If you don't tension properly the inner tent can sag too low and this can lead to minor condensation issues. I would also say it's a one man tent with extra space, not a 2 man.
At the price did it's job but there are other Vango tents around same price point that are better, the banshee for example.

Awesome 1-man tent
Bought the tent and used lived in it for a week straightaway (outdoors event, I've got home I promise:) ).
Held up really well during showers and proper strong winds, impressed with the quality. Could have been smaller when packed up, but for that kind of money you can't complain.
One thing is worth mentioning though... There is no way you'll enjoy sharing this tent with someone else, it really isn't big enough for 2, but easily a comfy shelter for a single normal-sized human being.

Great tent for such a great price. Spacious room inside. Brought for kids to go camping with their Explorer group. Light in weight and easy to put up, and easy to put away. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a great tent.

Vango 2 man
Purchased this after reading the reviews, was a bit optimistic especially with the price! Overall it does a decent job, it does however suffer on 2 down falls
1, it certainly is more a 1 person tent ( this said most 2 persons tents usually aren't)
2, it does suffer with condensation.
After all I personally think this is still good value for money!!

Price v value
Ok this tent is less than £60 so for the money it is great value. Used it for a 8 day bike trip. Positives are it is very lightweight quick to pitch and big enough for one person and pannier bags. Kept me dry and had good performance in windy conditions. Negatives it isnt very long so if over 5'10" it s not for you. Poles will be fine if you take care when pitching. It can also be a bit stuffy as there isn t much ventilation openings. But it is therefore warm and you can open inner zip to get extra air. Great value and did the trick for my first cycle / camping trip.

Don't buy this tent
I used this tent for my DofE and it was easy and light to carry. It took about 10 minutes to pitch and then the problems started. The inner part sagged right down and there was that much condensation that when I woke up I was absolutely soaked.

Light two man
I have used this tent 3 times now and for the price it is exceptional I only use as a one man but there's plenty of room for two only drawback is length of tent I'm 5 10"and any one taller couldn't lie straight. Very quick to erect and dismantle easy to pack away and weighing in at under 2 kilos brilliant for the wild camper

Ok while it lasted
We have used this for 4 wild camping trips and on the forth time the back pole split. I was able to do a quick fix with a roll of elastaplast out of my first aid kit. Just big enough for two slim adults 5tf 8, who dont mind comprising space for having less weight to carry. Has just enough space for your boots in the porch. I am contemplating fixing the pole rather than replacing the tent as I can't find a lighter one at this price.

Bought these tents for our staff as we work at music festivals. The younger staff seem to like them and find them comfortable just enough not sure about long periods.
The more mature staff could imagine it feeling like lying in a coffin, hardly any space and claustrophobic.
Easy to put up and down

I used this tent for my D of E gold expedition, I found it light and easy to put up. However on the second night the back pole split down the middle, not happy having to duck tape it up for the rest of the expedition. Furthermore it's perfect size for 1, 2 at a push. I found I couldn't sit in the tent without my head getting wet with condensation and not much room outside for Boots and other wet things. But overall if the tent didn't snap I'd probably be happy with it.

Not sure I like sleeping in a coffin. Inner tent sags a lot in the centre. Outer nice and tight though. Pegs bend at a slight push. Lots of condensation. It's good you can take fly off to dry out.Ok for a kids tent in the garden if you are about 3ft. Full lenth sim too long really. Deffo not for two people. You can only sleep down the centre. .oh l forgot ,there doesn't seem to be enough pegs. Oh the joys of budget camping x

Brilliant little tent
I have used this tent camping out for Wimbledon tickets for 2 years now, and it's been fantastic value for money. Weathertight and comfortable in weather conditions ranging from baking sunshine to torrential rain. Easy and quick to put up and take down (very important when the queue moves every morning ;) )
My only criticism is that it is most definitely NOT a 2-man tent, but as I tend to camp on my own this is not a problem for me. If you are looking for something a bit higher quality than the many cheap festival tents available today, this is a perfect entry level tent. Only upgrading mine now as I want something a little roomier for my 10-day long pilgrimages to SW19!

2 man tents
I bought this tent in june after the guy in the store told me it is a very good tent for 2, and yes it is if you are no bigger than 3ft 6in tall & you have no gear with you. If you are looking for a 2 man tent i would buy a 3 or 4 berth tent & not waste your money buying this or any 2 man tents.

Easy to put up, room for one person and their bags, definitely not two!
Lasted nicely for a few camping trips, then one of the poles split straight down the middle, will probably upgrade to better poles.
All in all, it's a decent tent as a whole, keeps you dry and stays put in windy conditions, but you get what you pay for, if you want good quality then spend a little more

Great 2-'little'-man Tent
For the money what do you really expect? Something that will keep you dry, packs fairly small and wont blow away at night? Well this tent does this...
Other reviews have mentioned a lack of pegs - I had just enough (always worth carrying an extra peg or two anyway just in case). Other reviews also mentioned snapped poles - mine were fine and seemed to be plenty strong enough.
Other reviews also mentioned the fact that it is advertised as a 2-man tent, well okay I agree - it is a bit on the small size but with a 'proper' roll mat you could get a couple of people in here, there would be little space for anything else (and the two people would have to become quite good friends) but it certainly does the job. As for trying to fit an inflatable bed in here - well you're just on an impossible mission from the start!
So as I started off - for the money you can't go wrong, don't expect it to be the greatest tent in the world but for a couple of nights at a time (on my own) it certainly does the job.

Not so good!
Decided to buy this as the other reviews were good. For a £50 pound tent I thought I couldn't go wrong. Easy to set up!
First night one of the poles snapped! Not good :( took it back and changed it for an OEX tent

Wish I hadn't bothered. Bought this as a stop gap as my trusty helix 1 man was being repaired. the different in quality between the two vango products was huge. the bags that all the different sections come in were cheap, the canvas was average at best, and the poles were absolutely dire - snapping at the first attempt! And as other people have suggested here - there aren't enough pegs for the full thing!!! I've read that this is merely an old model that's been rebranded for sale at GO, and looking at the difference in manufacturing quality between this and my Helix, I can imagine that this is actually an older tent. Returned it less than a week after purchase - thankfully for a full refund. On the whole - c*** tent, but great customer service in store as usual.

Bought this tent and first used it at the base of Snowdon in terrible weather, I managed to get it pitched in under ten minutes in rain and sleet. It's not a two man tent rather a one man with plenty of room for your ruck. Kept me dry all night in the wind and rain , I can't fault it apart from the two man tent description. Can't wait for my next chance to use it again.
