Easy to put up we use them on a sendero 8xl
Absolutely brilliant
Does the job it was intended to do. Easy to assemble and looks good.
Opened up our burghaus air 4 tents front access, made tent feel much bigger, good quality steel poles, great height to them,, making easy access
Really good solid poles.
Sat waiting for my pick up at the shop as requested, does exactly what we need , good sturdy poles for a great price, Thanks Go Outdoors, you're a Top Shop.
I had a few days in the Lake District the other week and guess what - it rained !!!
With 2 little boys full of energy and very muddy boots / clothes I decided to get the poles so we had some protection from the rain and not bring all the mud into the tent.
Worked perfectly and very stable once the guy lines were attached ??
Collapse to nothing as well - which is good when camping.
Yep, does the job required perfectly !
Never disappointed with the quality of all products bought at Go Outdoors ! They always have what I need.
Purchased this inexpensive pole & guy rope kit and instantly created a side canopied door on a hi gear voyager 6.
I am really happy with these poles. Used them for the first time this weekend to make my tent door into an awning, they stood up well in brisk winds.
Pretty sturdy, and I like the bright colour of the guy ropes. Really good value for money
Just used this set on my Hi Gear Voyager Elite 6 with no problems at all. Felt sturdy in the wind and rain. Well worth the money i paid for it.
Poles were sturdy enough and lines of good quality. Held up in pretty bad weather. Could just have done with some caps for the top of the spikes.
Bought these to use with my RAB Siltarp 2. Sturdy poles that should stand up to the weather.
Could be lighter but if you're traveling by car the weight should be ok. I usually travel to campsites (usually wild camping) by motorcycle and they're small enough to fit inside my panniers. They're 7ft tall so high enough to lift most big tarps.
For the money they are decent enough. You may want to add in some better guy lines and include decent pegs. They're all black so a little fluorescent tape might be useful for better visuals at night.
With eyelets in each corner of our voyager 6. These awning poles were simple to put up. Once the guy ropes were staked in they were very secure, Providing an extra canopy off of the front of the tent. A great buy at a good price
I used these poles for the first time on my Voyager 6 tent last weekend.
I have to admit I was surprised to find there were no spikes to knock them into the ground with (the spikes are at the top for the door/guideropes to go over) which left me wondering how effective they'd be!
I have to say they were great! Once you've attached the guideropes (and the door, obviously!) they stay standing all day long, and it was fairly windy on the Welsh coast where we were. They have a small amount of 'give' built in to allow them to flex a little in the wind which made them perfectly stable.
We weren't lucky enough to have to escape the heat of the sun this trip, but if you did need to, or needed a dry spot to cook under I'd say for the money these are a great option. I'll be buying another set for the side door this weekend.
These poles are very good indeed. Simply to use, very efficient and well worth the money. Stayed up in windy conditions and would definitely recommend to anyone.
