Sleeping mat

Better than sleeping on the ground, Just and weight is an issue. I bought 2 of these. You might have to blow them up yourself as they neither from new have self inflated to a level you could sleep on.

Great value and performance. Just buy it

We used these straight on the ground sheet and they were super comfortable and warm even though I sleep on my side. You don't end up on the floor in the morning like an air bed and they roll up small

Good for extra comfort

Kida slept on their mats on the duo bunk beds, added an extra layer and we had no complaints of being uncomfortable! Needed abit of help to inflate but overall happy with mats!

Punctured if you look at it sharply

I set this up and lay down on it in my living room to break it in as it were. Very comfy and a bargain compared to comparable Vango items thought I. Then my cat sat on it a moment and her claw went straight through. She doesn't the night in the aforementioned Vango Trek without ill effect. Too cheap yet heavy and big to bother sending back. I'll use the puncture kit with it and get a spare for trips when the car is nearby.

Rubbish!!

Bought 3 of these mats for the kids today in preparation for a future camping trip with the family. Luckily we decided to open one up and see what it was like. The label states that it inflated to 2.5cms!!!! Lucky if it made it to 1cm!! No way I’d even put kids on this let alone an adult. Returning them to store tomorrow!

Hi gear camper self inflating mat

Bought for my daughter - she found it comfortable and warm while camping. Would recommend it!

Great product

Bought this for my daughter to take camping as she didn’t get on with an inflatable mattress. She found this really comfortable and didn’t slide off it. Had to open the valve for a bit at home before we went but it got quicker to inflate.

No problems

Great mat- no problems- a step up from the roll mats made of foam.

Higear Camper mat

I had 2 nights on it, not bad nights sleep, certainly a notch up from a good foam roll up type. I Have had laid on my living room wooden floor, walked over it a good few time jump on it with cycling shoes rolled bikes across it and is still inflated after 7 days. Yes it could do with being wider, more comfortable, lighter and with a smaller pack size; but for £10 its worth it.

Great sleep

I love this mat! Having spent a number of camping trips sleeping on an airbed and becoming annoyed with the cold ( even with insulating blankets underneath) I decided to try a mat instead although wasn't sure how being closer to the ground was going to be warmer! This mat is great. Once inflated it offers ample cushioning for a great night sleep, you are not sleeping on cold air and you have more room in your tent. I recommend, as instructed, you open it and inflate once before your trip. I must admit to not trying to roll it up to get it back in the bag...I didn't fold it in half so once rolled the bag only covers half of the mat. This suits me, but I guess the original shape may fit better in bottom of a rucksack. Ditch the airbed and get one!!

Reasonable portable inflatable mat

I bought this inflatable mat to go to a music festival, it was very portable and easy to inflate and deflate.
However although it did slightly help with comfort, it was still an uncomfortable sleep.

The width was a bit narrow.

At the time when looking at them there were wider mats available but for £10 I thought "why not it's only 2 nights I need it for".
It is probably more beneficial towards smaller/ light weight people or kids but for £10 it does work ok. It does what it says on the label so can't argue with that.

I couldn't spend a week camping with it though, 2 nights was enough.

Upgrade

A recommended upgrade from a foam roller mat. Will find out how good when she comes back from strategy camp shortly.

Good value for money

Bought this for my eight year olds first cub camp. (I tried it out in the front room) there were no complaints from her and when I tried it out was easy to inflate and most importantly deflate and put back in the straps and bag provided.

Does what it should at a good price.

More comfy than gravel

To the people who think this is comfy, what do you sleep on the rest of the time?

Brilliant

Lightweight, compact and surprisingly comfortable given that it is the budget end of the SIM range. Perfect for use with a camp bed.

self inflating camping mat

Excellent light weight and no hassle just open the valve and it dose the rest for you. Very comfortable to sit or lie on so much so that I now have two of these.
