Great Alpine Harness
I have had an Alpine Bod for more than 10 years, and it is still going strong. It is a stripped-down lightweight harness for big mountaineering days -- the less weight the better, which is why it doesn't have a belay loop. When tied in you use the loop of rope proximal to your figure-of-eight as your belay loop (tie in around belt AND leg loop of harness, make the rope loop about the same size as a belay loop). If untying for any reason (eg at the top of a Sports Climb), use a screwgate as a belay loop.
