Stay warm and comfortable in cold, wet weather with these fully waterproof, breathable trousers.
Hi Gear's Typhoon Insulated Trousers are a warmer version of their popular Typhoon waterproof trousers, with added 60g synthetic insulation that will keep you comfortable if you're out in colder temperatures.
Their polyester lining means that they're comfortable on their own, and especially when worn over a thermal baselayer such as the Hi Gear Long John Thermal Baselayer Leggings. Their articulated knee design allows you to bend your legs fully, or extend to full stretch, without the leg riding up and exposing you to the elements.
3/4 length leg zips make for easy ventilation, and mean pulling them on or off over your boots is quick and easy.
Zipped and open pockets at the front give you room for your essentials, and quick access to whatever legwear you may be wearing underneath.
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Collar: Measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits.
Chest: Measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.
Waist: Measure the natural waistline.
Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.
Jacket Length: Measure from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. The length measurement will vary depending on the style.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
For the sale and discount price you cannot go that far wrong with these trousers. I have had them for a year now and use them in all kinds of weather shooting and fishing. Warm and waterproof and at this price I will be buying another pair straight away. Great trousers, great value.

Ok these trousers are comfortable, lightweight and very warm but they have a floor. They are water repellent and you can kneel in wet mud for hours without penetrating but 10 mins in a windy drizzle and water soaks into the zip seam on the lower leg and just floods in. I bought these as 'waterproof' not 'sort of waterproof' I would have taken both pairs back but after a days lambing they weren't really in any condition to return. These are good trousers, just don't wear them as 'waterproofs'

Warm and Dry on Board
Purchased 3 pairs of these trousers for family members to wear whilst sailing. Well tested in recent trips and kept wearers both warm and dry in Force 7 with driving rain.
