A lightweight and versatile climbing helmet that's well ventilated and has a minimal pack size.
An in-mold helmet with EPS core and tough Micro Shell, the Mammut Rock Rider is just at home on sport or multi-pitch routes as it is ice climbing or on high altitude or via ferrata routes.
The low weight and 16 ventilation holes and channels make this a great choice for all-day wear or difficult climbs where overheating can be a problem. If early starts are required then 4 stable clips will hold your headtorch secure and keep your hands free.
The headband is height and width adjustable with a fully adjustable chin strap so you can tailor the fit to suit, and the entire fitting system can be folded back inside the helmet to save space in your pack.
A great lightweight multi-purpose helmet, if you like mix your climbing with a bit of via ferrata and winter routes then the Mammut Rock Rider could be the only helmet you need!
Very light weight helmet, looks good, plenty of adjustment around the straps and the frame packs away inside to save space. You soon forget it’s on your head until you bump it on a rock then are thankful you’ve got such a sound piece of kit on. I got the orange to be noticed against snow
Can't fault this helmet at all, would recommend to anyone.

Excellent All Rounder
This helmet is a superb all rounder. It offers good solid protection and maitains a low weight. It is extremely comfortable and well ventilated for long mountain days. Only down point is that the rear adjuster is a tad fiddly but worth it to save a couple of extra grams. Best helmet I've owned and I would happily recommend it.

Mammut Rock Rider Helmet
The helmet is lightweight, fits well and is perfect protection for my job. The shape of the front of the helmet allows me to wear my glasses without pushing down on the frame like other helmets do.

This helmet is good lightweight design however the adjustable strap that attaches to the helmet digs into the sides of your head and give you a headache after a few hours of using it
