Men's Footwear Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Comfortable even for hours

Used for walks lasting a couple of hours and for longer caving trips. Stayed comfortable and easy enough to get on/off.

Perfect!

Perfect basic welly boot for popping into the garden on damp, drizzly days, or trudging through deep snow or puddles. Just the thing to keep feet dry!

Great Wellies, Great Value

I could have paid substantially more for a pair of wellies but these were not only tall enough for my leg and therefore more effective against mud and water, they were pretty much half or quarter the price of anything else on offer. They were supremely comfortable when worn with a decent woollen wellie boot sock. Highly recommended, you don't need to pay £50!

My bait digging wellies

I am a very keen fisherman (sea). These wellies are great when I am digging for bait as things can get a bit muddy.Being a small guy the Wellies nearly reach my knees. Great protection.Thank you GO Outdoors.

Wellington boot

It's a low cost Wellie that keeps the water out and your feet dry. I could have paid 4 times the price but thought I'd be better off replacing them over time.

Dunlop wellies

Had a pair of these before and they were fine, but this pair, after only a week, leaked. I went out in the snow and within minutes both feet were soaked...very disappointed...

These are good wellies for not much money.

The sizing seems reasonably generous, allowing me to put in heat reflecting insoles for the winter, and the price means I don't mind if they only last a year before I wear them out through daily use like the last pair.

Bought a lot worse!

These Dunlop wellies seem well made & have good grip. I wear them with thick socks which also helps to cushion the slightly thin soles.
Overall not bad wellies for the price.

Good Value

The wellingtons are of good quality. They are even comfortable when worn without socks. Unusually they are not cold on the inside when worn without socks, even when the feet are wet.

Dunlop wellie

Good value for money wide top so good for the chunkier calf.

Dunlop wellington boots

These boots are a good length to keep legs dry from long wet grass. They are not too heavy for easy walking and are comfortable to wear. They are perhaps a little too loose around the ankle and will come off easily in sticky mud. Overall a very satisfactory purchase as I use them across fields every day..

Living in hope

I have tried cheap, mid-range and more expensive wellies (up to £90 Hunters and Le Chameau) all of which seem to last around 3-6 months, despite some with 2 year warranties. I have now come back to cheap ones - I can get 7 or 8 pairs for the price of one pair of dear ones, so must be better value. Only used for dog walking but splitting round seams and underneath seems a common fault, so hopefully these will last at least 3 months. Soles are a bit thin, which is why only 4 stars but I can live with that.

Can't go wrong

For ten pounds these wellies are awesome, I have leather lined ones which I don't use around chemicals or if around a yard working etc... Personally I would only have these or £350 quid ones, the rest in between are a waste of money and poor quality despite people thinking hunter are "vogue", these do the job. Buy them and maybe a warm pair of socks for the winter with the cash left over.
