The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear lining is ultra-lightweight and extremely breathable, keeping outer moisture away from the foot and wicking inner vapours away from the skin.
Underfoot, the Biometric sole uses dual density PU to maintain the highest performance and quality. The midsole is reinforced with an additional moulded thermo plastic shank (TPU), and the Vibram outsole finishes it off.

Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.
We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.
Great boots for rough terrain, slopes etc. I have been backpack hunting deer in these boots for 3 seasons now, Good as the day i bought them. Just keep up the Dubbin on the leather and store them out of the sun and they will last. Not so great for walking on flat tracks at speed.

Good boots, good service by Go Outdoors and Scarpa
I bought these boots in Summer 2016 and found them good for winter walking, but having several other pairs of boots they did not get lots of use as maybe a bit heavy for summer use. In December 2018 they still looked in great condition but the left one leaked. Go Outdoors helpfully sent them back to Scarpa for checking and Scarpa kindly replaced them, when at best I was expecting a repair. Well done Go Outdoors! Well done Scarpa! Hopefully this replacement pair will last better.

Bought them to replace a pair that was worn out. So far so good, very comfortable and seem to do the job well. Ask me again in a few years time.

It was clear that these were comfortable boots as soon as I put them on. The first time I wore them I went on a 16km hike (normally not a good idea for brand new boots) and my feet were absolutely fine at the end of the day.
The waterproofing works like a dream on paths although the ankle support is fairly low so you will need a set of gaiters if you are going through tall grass.
Leather boots can be more work to maintain but if looked after well then they will last years longer than fabric boots.
Overall these are a good set of boots and well worth the money if you are going to use them regularly. I use mine every fortnight or so. If you are just a casual hiker then a cheaper set of boots will probably suffice.

Nice boots good solids soles. They are reasonably comfortable to wear. Last pair of Scarpa boots lasted 10 years, these are not quite as comfortable, but hopefully they will last another 10 years.

After using several cheaper brands i decided to go for a descent pair. These are comfortable straight out of the box. Grippy soles and tough. Only complaint is the toe box is a little low and the flex point can sometimes hit my foot.

Tried on loads of boots...by far these were the best they felt more comfortable than my trainers !! My advice get what feels the most comfortable and supportive at the price you can afford...stay away from what looks the best...its true that you get what you pay for.!! ..tried them on a small 8k walk in the dales through mud, water, streams, in the river ( even over the top of the boot, by accident) over rocks..the result...?? ..didnt slip once !! kept my feet bone dry!! no aches no pains!! And they will last years due to the quality of the features and materials used..

When I got them I applied several layers of beeswax to them so they do not crack. Since then they have done me well and have been comfortable, waterproof and grippy. After each use you need to clean them and wax them or else they will not play their role. Don't expect the shoes to take care of you if you don't take care of them.

Terrible cheapskating insoles
I bought this boot because of the brand's reputation and good reviews to replace a Zamberlan pair which lasted me 12 years without giving a single blister. Very disappointed with insoles after suffering 1.5 x 1ins blood blisters due to heel strike while walking on forest trails in the Scottish Highlands for 25 miles. Found them to be thin, offering no support or cushioning. When purchasing, I naively assumed the insoles would be decent in a product costing £180. I called Scarpa and was told most people buy their own insoles so the fitted insoles 'aren't the most technical'. I was given no such advice in the store and this is not mentioned on the box or product info. Had to see a GP for large dressings and couldn't walk for a day. Hugely disappointing. Do not buy unless you also get replacement insoles. A hugely disappointing piece of cheapskating. Also, Go Outdoors your staff should mention this issue instead of just trying to flog polish.

This boot was to replace my Scarpa Treks that had lasted 20+ years and worn out two sets of soles! These Delta GTX boots were instantly comfortable and are well made however, after 3 miles my feet were hot and the arches ached. The insoles were typical Scarpa, B***** AWEFUL! There is no arch support unlike my Scarpa Mantas. These are indeed 3 season boots, Autumn, Winter and Spring. The Goretex will make them too hot for summer use. I will have to replace the insoles with better ones to get the boots anywhere near acceptable. They are good but do not merit 5*

2nd pair bought after first pair were so good.
Per the title, my first pair were getting well worn, conservative estimate 4000 miles hard use, and were still comfortable, watertight and perfectly adequate for easier terrains, but grip on muddier and steeper slopes declining it was time to renew. Tried other boots from other manufacturers but nothing seemed to fit as well, so in the end an easy choice. P

My new walking boots
I walk a lot. My old pair of boots did me 10 years, up mountains, through rivers and back again all year round. When they finally startng leaking I looked for more karrimors but couldnt find any I liked. So i tried these and three weeks or so into using them they are unnoticeably comfy and the vibram soles are grippy on all surfaces including wet grass. Get some, you will be happy.

After ten years of heavy use my Scarpa Deltas were getting pretty worn down, so I decided to buy a pair of Scarpa Delta GTX boots. I've had them now for two years over all sorts of terrain: deserts in the Middle East, safari, mountains and volcanic ash beaches in Iceland etc.
I can happily walk 10 or 12 miles to a photographic location in extreme weather (think Scottish highlands in late Autumn, Winter and early Spring) and then stand in 2 inch deep water for an hour as I photograph landscape from my tripod - and then walk all the way back. My feet remain comfortable and bone dry throughout.
I even managed a 32 mile walk in the Peak District last Autumn wearing these boots and I can in all honesty say that I didn't have a single blister.
The leather on the boots is thick and tough. Also, it's a lot easier than boots made of suede to keep clean and looking good in my view.
When the day comes that these boots are worn out - assuming I don't wear out first(!) - I'll look nowhere else for a replacement boot.
I strongly suggest using some Scarpa HS12 cream on these boots once they've been cleaned and allowed to dry at room temperature after a heavy walk/expedition. The cream ensures that the leather remains in optimal condition.

Awesome boots, amazing quality & ready out of the box
Recently purchased these boots after my trusty Scarpa Asolo had seen better days after 10 years. So I had high expectation from these GTXs and I wasn't disappointed! They felt like a pair of slippers on my first hike of 8 miles and then 2 weeks later I completed a 8 hour hump across the Irish mountains covering 35kms. These boots were amazing, great stiffness but still super Light!
I switched out the insoles for superfeet and these boots became my new slippers of the mountains. Well worth the money! 5 star and recommended .
Plus awesome help from the team at Shrewsbury store.

Excellent boots, well worth the money.
Fit my feet brilliantly (wider foot, flat footed) took a little bit to break in but not too bad, my feet have stayed dry & these are like slippers compared to my old Karrimor boots, highly recommended.

These are by far and away the best walking boots I have ever owned. There hasn't really been any breaking in period to speak of they have been comfy straight out of the box. They are warm without being overly so and they have yet to let a drop of water in. To cap it off the Vibram sole provides fantastic grip. Can't fault these boots

Great staff support
I bought these from the Blackburn store and spent some time going through fitting with Richard, a member of staff there. He advised on how to lace them, possible return visit to discuss alternative footbeds once the boots were bedded in amongst other useful and interesting info. I doubt I would have had that level of support elsewhere so well done and thanks Richard. As for the boots, well, they feel great out of the box as many others have said. Go try a pair on if you're in the market for a pair of boots. I've yet to spend hours in them yet but my confidence is very very and I'm more than happy with my purchase. GoOutdoors also price matched with 10% so I paid £150 for them. Seems like a lot but if £150 gets you into the hills for the next 10 years then......that's around a £1 a month :-)

You Will Not Buy a Better Boot
You will struggle to buy a better boot than these for the price, I have had these boots for 2 years now and they have done in excess of 3,000 miles over a very mixed set of terrain and still going strong with a good 6 months left in them. the soles are showing some signs of wear and im on my 3rd pair of laces, but honestly not that its a problem, straight out of the box and away you go, very comfy un the underside too, took no breaking in at all. Previously I had Solomon 4d GTX, equally a comfy boot but this time I went back to leather. The move from a fabric boot to a leather takes little adjusting to just a tad more weight but worth the switch and easy to re-proof.. the thoughts expressed here are entirely my own opinion.. good boot and good price if you are serious about getting out on the hills dont scrimp on your kit.
