Suitable for belaying and abseiling on single and double ropes, the Petzl Reverso 4 is a versatile belay device.Not only do you get all the functionality of a standard tube belay device but also the Reverso mode with its assisted breaking and the ability to belay two seconds simultaneously.
In standard mode optional breaking assistance is provided by Petzl's ARC (Adaptive Rope Control) technology. Engage ARC for extra holding power by simply running the dead rope through the V slots. For smoother paying out, lowering or abseiling flip the device around and bypass the ARC system.

Brilliantly smooth... On your own rooe
While it's brilliantly smooth on your own rope lead climbing or hooking it in to top rope, it can snap ever so slightly when using gym ropes or ones slightly frayed in the climbing wall from over use
Do like the smooth operation with a variety of rope thicknesses.Lightweight kit is always helpful. Lack of moving parts suggests it will last!
