Reasonable price and a built in ground sheet
I was looking for a while various websites etc. And decide that I wanted one with a built in ground sheet. This bivvy ticked the boxes.
After purchasing it, I had my first weekend fishing.
The instructions weren't that good. Initially it took two of us to make sense of it. But eventually after 5mins we popped it up and was amazed how good and spacious it was. Very easy to peg down etc. Taking it down was easier again instructions not good.
The only problem I found was, it had condensation over night. It needed an extra skin/ wrap.
Overall very good and excellent value. I hope a new version has an extra layer.
Good nights sleep and lots of space for my gear.
We love the idea of this bivvy as its exactly what we were looking for and the features are great except for the ventilation. After this experience we feel we have wasted our money as we will not be using it again.
Bought as a birthday present for my son and he is absolutely delighted with it :-)
Goes up easily if you read instructions takes longer to put down
So up a lot quicker then a brolly system but takes a lot lot longer then a a brolly system to put down
Loads and loads of space inside and with nice and warm was fishing a 24hrs in Feb and temps dropped to at least -3 but was comfortable might invest in bivivy heater as there is no second skin that I can find
Overall a really good bivivy for the money
We bought this bivvy last weekend and we Cant fault it at all erected in less than 5 minutes and the room inside it is unbelievable 2 bed chairs and stacks of space for all the kit it rained on one night and it's totally waterproof no leaks very good value for money would recommend to anyone
I found this very quick and easy to pitch, under 5 mins,it is warm and cosy with plenty of room, bad points are it could do with a mesh screen, full of flies and bugs ,although it was used during a storm we found it had 2 points which leaked .along the stitching.
Brought as a present for my son-law & grandson.
This produce is the best I have seen. They erected from bag to Bivvy in 7min..
The time it takes to erect it makes it good for daily use as well as over night.
At £109 its well worth the money for a bit of comfort when fishing.
I needed a bivvy that would be easy enough to put up and take down plus with enough room. As for up in under 30 seconds first time I put it up in garden took me 5 minutes totally amazed and pleased with design looks great and does the job.
Well done TF GEAR you done it again
First bad points, as for the promotion saying it goes up under 1 minute think again first time took 45 minutes but after some practice now do it around 15 minutes fully pegged and around the same packing away, groundsheet quite thin, legs on bed chairs will easily rip material, pegs poor quality, ok on soft ground but will need better pegs on hard grounds, Doors, unless you rollup the doors every time they will get very dirty ,no option for winter skin Good points,, once up you have loads of room in the both 1 & 2 man versions sewn in groundsheet, oversize carry bag, ideal as you will not fold it up like the factory does, repair kit., small footprint for tight swims. all in all I know this has some bad points but if you want loads of space and comfort and only fish for 1 or 2 days in milder weather this is a ideal bivvy to own.
Amazing bivvy loads of room I got sent the one man first time so Ive taken it back and got a two man perfect very rigid completley waterproof and warm amazing quick erection under one minute perfect great value for money
I got this for camping/sea fishing weekends & it says Erect in 30 seconds or so yer right took me half hr first go. (My fault not reading instructions correctly) My first impression was the frame as it looks like it would snap under to much pressure so watch what your doing until you have done it a couple of times & watch the 2 front canopy poles they can twist and cause damage. (Don't know if spares are available yet)
Once it's put up there is plenty of space for 2 beds & room for your dry stuff the material looks good quality no doubt the British weather will test that out with use. Overall good bivvy for the price £99 the only thing i'd like to see is a storm over cover /wrap & spare parts available other than that made up with it
So much for putting it up in a few minutes 1st time it took me an hour and as an Ex Scout leader use to camping this was a bit embarrassing. The reason for this was that it had been returned to the store and the previous purchaser had twisted the front poles, once this was sorted it went up very easily and it now only takes me 10 minutes to erect it. The bivvy is of excellent quality and with the built in ground sheet is very warm and dry in all types of weather conditions as well as keeping out unwanted guests. My only gripe is that the pegs are not of the same quality and would advise purchasing a good quality set, particularly for use on gravel or stone based pegs, plus it would be nice to have the opportunity to purchase a winter over skin for it. But all in all excellent value and quality for the price.
