Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.
We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.
Not a great fan of these. Rubber seems less sticky than other shoes I've tried (Scarpa VS, 5:10s). The heel is a bit meh and the velcro straps don't go tight enough; looking for other shoes.
I have always worn Vapour V's and absolutely loved the old version, these feel exactly the same as the previous version but are inferior. Less toe rubber, less resilient and overall a much worse shoe!
I’ve had these shoes 6.5 months and warn them 3-4 times a week they have just started to fall off now, you begin losing the edge after 3-4 months and they rub on your big toes and toe hooking is hard
For me they are a great shoe. Abused them every week indoor and outdoor for 6 months, no signs of damage. I climb 7b and E4, and they are fine. Like any shoe, try them on before you buy.
