Reviewed by Ben - 29th Jan, 2020 Awesome Bought for winter camping, served me in snow, sleet, hail, rain and strong winds. Perfect next to a small fire with a beer.
Reviewed by Dragon - 9th Sep, 2017 Not fully waterproof We have just put up the shelter to try it out before we go fishing was a bit of a job at first as there are no instructions but once we had it sorted it didn't,t take long to do. The only thing I am disappointed with is that it lets water in where the seams are but apart from that it is good and good value for the money
Reviewed by john - 13th Jan, 2016 fishing shelter I bought this as I was on holiday and left my umbrella at home. Just two minor problems. A little difficult to put up in a tight space and the pegs supplied are very flimsy. Having said that most lakes have more space on the bank than the one I fished and as the shelter only cost £27 I'm not worried about paying a few extra pennies for stronger pegs. Apart from that it was easy to put up and kept both the wind and rain off. It is also very compact and easy to carry. Will definitley use this over my umbrella from now on.
Reviewed by Nutsinmay - 27th Sep, 2015 No instructions This shelter is made from good quality materials and is good value. It's very roomy. You would think that it would have a simple A4 sheet with instructions on how to erect, but they are not supplied. It's not that they were missing - I was told at the store that you don't get any! Yes, it's quite easy to put up once you have worked out the best sequence, but it's largely a matter of trial and error. Some people have commented on the poles being flimsy. They are, but you don't need to put any pressure on them - just take care. There are 5 points to attach the guy cords, but only 4 cords supplied. I used one off my old umbrella. The pegs are rather flimsy so I bought some stronger ones whilst in the store. All in all a good product let down somewhat by penny-pinching.
Reviewed by Luay - 29th Jun, 2015 Setup Really small light weight 2 problems it's hard to erect the first few times and the back is not water proof but it is a great shelter for fishing if you have a lot of time
Reviewed by ross - 23rd Aug, 2014 day shelter Took it back to the store, got a brand new one and it is magnificent the first one was faulty. Good service on exchange.

Reviewed by Crowie - 27th Jan, 2014 fantastic value for money I have had my bivvi now for half a season so its been tested a few times. Its totally waterproof and has kept me warm and dry. The internal size is very good and theres plenty of room to stow my gear out of the rain. I like the height as well. I find it hard to get out of a low fishing chair but this headroom means I can use a good camping chair. naturally you may not want to spend a night in it but as a day shelter it brilliant. Just one problem, it can be a bit awkward to erect till you get used to it. Practice makes perfect.
Reviewed by UKJeeper - 31st Dec, 2013 Perfect for my needs. Bought this to keep the wind and rain off when i'm in the back garden enjoying my firepit. I've had it almost a year and it's worked great. Needed re-proofing as water was starting to come through. But too be fair, it's had more use in one year than most of the them get in a lifetime, it's often up for weeks on end. One of the reasons for buying it was because it wasn't expensive, so stray embers leaving the occasional hole don't bother me. Would definitely recommend it.
Reviewed by guinea pig - 27th Dec, 2013 hardwear day shelter never having assembled a freshwater shelter before, only beach buddies, this proved easy to assemble and to pack away. Masses of room inside, Excellent quality and great value for money
Reviewed by lamanga - 20th Nov, 2013 Perfect Erected in minutes, watched the rain run off it. Spot on for me and 2 dogs during a very heavy down pore. Not the most stable especially with two guy ropes missing from the kit, but has got to be the best balance of cost, quality, usability and value for money. Even her indoors commented on " how cosey" it was.
