Not good

The tap doesn’t line up straight, it goes off at an angle and has poor flow, also turning it on it’s side to use the tap means a puddle on the floor from the leaky lid. All around disappointing.

very poor quality tap

we recently used these Jerry cans on a Scouting camp, the taps are very poor.

not practicle

I bought this for it's useful capacity and it had a tap. the downside is that as you're filling up a container it slows to a trickle as there is no vent.

Needs air valve

Robust container and tap works well enough although a bit stiff to open and close. The main issue is there is no air valve so water trickles out of the tap so takes ages to fill a cup of water, even more frustrating if ours trying to fill a kettle!

No Good.

Number of issues, tap does not line up, tap leaks at joint and container needs an air vent. Waste of money.

Does not really work , needs a vent , tap does not line up

Not fit for purpose

Rubbish product. Should have read the reviews here first. Don't buy this! Also, this format won't allow me to give zero stars, which is what this product should get.

Could be better

I read the existing reviews and agree as follows: the tap does not line up, it needs an air hole to allow the water to flow but apart from that it is ok, holds a decent amount of water.

Water container

ideal for what I want them for. Just the right size I needed.

Almost five star

Great container , would of given 5 star if the tap lined up perfect but doesn't , tap can be a little stiff , haven't used it for camping but for storing homebrew.

jerry can

Absolute rubbish unless you are handy with diy, took up camping again after a long break and had to re-buy a lot of stuff and to be honest i am beggining to regret my purchases from Go Outdoors, the only thing that has been any good is the camping stove that we bought. I had to drill a hole in the water can to allow an airflow and use a pair of mole grips to turn the tap on and off,its not a total waste of money though as i have managed to fit a garden tap to the lid instead, once again i ask wether Go Outdoors ever product test what they sell, should have took the useless stuff back but would have cost me more in fuel. Why do i have to give a star when it does not deserve it

25 Litre Jerry can with tap

Don't bother, the tap was upside down when I assembled it which made it useless. Also the tap was so tight I or my wife could turn it on or off. Took it back to go outdoors and told them the problem, was asked to get another from the shelf but they all had the same problem, how can something that should be so simple be so wrong?? got a refund.
