Better than expected

Liner is nice and fleecy, being both thicker and higher quality than expected. I anticipate that on relatively warm summer nights I can use this without a bag. Length is good. Value at £12. Recommend.

I bought the Hi Gear fleece Mummy bag liner to line my Outwell 300 sleeping bag. I have had the Outwell for 30+ years and there is still plenty of life left in it. It has been stored for a number of years and when I got it out, with the intention of doing some wild camping again, I noticed there was some staining around the head area of the bag. I have washed it and although clean, the stains remain and don't look nice. The solution was either buy a new sleeping bag or a liner. I opted for the latter and considered a polyester/cotton liner. I then saw the Hi Gear fleece liners which were on offer for a very reasonable price and combined with the discount card, was a bargain! The fleece liner fits nicely inside the Outwell and has given it a new lease of life. It is so cosy on cooler nights and could be used on its own on warm nights too.
I'm very happy with this product.

We bought four of these for camping in Inverness in October. And was all comfy and cosy on our beach camping for a week.
Can't recommend these enough so good value for money. Will be telling my Explorer troop to get them.

Mummy Bag

This is my 2nd as my son uses one also - they are great (I always use over the sleeping bag)

Snug as a bug in a rug

I can't recommend this product highly enough...it's the best piece of camping kit I own. I'm a seasoned camper and always slept relatively well in tents. However, I was a little cold one night on my last camping trip and (during a quick stop off at go outdoors for some more camping gas) I bought this on impulse. It was a amazing, I've never been so toasty warm at night in a tent, I'll never go camping without it now.

Purchased The Gelert Version

The Harlow GoOutdoors had this and the Gelert version (seemingly not online). I took both out of the stuff sacks and the Gelert one hand a left handed zip which suited me better. The Hi-gear has a right handed zip.
Both products appeared to be exactly the same other than the zip side.Over the weekend I tested out an old sleeping bag, over two nights, the first night I slept with just the sleeping bag got cold at 4am when it was 6.c, I added the liner and was very cozy. The second night I went to sleep with both the liner and sleeping bag and woke at 6am when it was -1.c cool but not cold, I put socks on and was warm enough. I would say, this liner is good enough to add at least 5.c of warmth to your sleeping bag.N.B it is the Gelert version I have and have tested, which is why I cannot give the hi-gear version 5 stars as it may not be exactly the same.

Fleecy Liner

Great product, great price, I used this for 4 nights when I thought it would be cold, and I was cosy and warm, so as far as I go, it worked well.

Just the job

I only use a light 2 season sleeping bag and with the cooler evenings here I bought this bag just to keep the chill off and boy was I toastie warm, in fact too hot.

Fleece Liner

In the need to cut down how much bedding we take with us,brought these to keep warm with instead of taking a big dovet to throw over our sleeping bags. These liners do the job nicely -was slightly too warm infact. If we get a decent summer (remember those) I think they'll be good enough without a sleeping bag.
