I ask if they had a big lake to try it in they said no, so how can you try it.. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. now I am stock with it and I will never use go outdoors again..

Overall a good canoe
Good canoe wouldn't advise buying it and using it without a skeg though unfortunately doesn't come with one so had to buy one...
Paddles aren't great but do the job
For the price can't complain though

This has been a great buy. Had difficulty in vast open water with steering but bought a Skeg on eBay for £15 and completely resolved that. I'd advise buying the Sevylor pump because it has the adaptors for these valves and is pretty much the same price as other pumps. I use this regularly up and down the River Wye and even taken it through the Symonds Yat Rapids without any problems. So much comfier than any kayak you can hire on the river too!!

54 miles of the Thames
Did a 54 mile stretch of the thames from kings lock, wildcamping along the way over 5 days. More than enough room for my kit.
Boat performed flawlessly. (I'd previously brought the *essential* skeg).
If it came with the essential skeg I'd award 5 stars easily.

Round and Round
A great kayak if you want to go around and around in circles every time a slight breeze occurs. I am no seasoned watersports-person, but have paddled many a kayak. This kayak makes it very hard work to go anywhere, even with the tide on your side and a skeg. Used twice, thats enough, selling on to buy a rigid kayak instead.

bought 1 of these from go outdoors you dont recieve the 1 in the pictures as the spray deck doesnt inflate, they also should stock the skeg to keep them straight when paddling as its quite a toil without 1 of these.

So far so good!
I received this five days ago, and I have been out on the Thames in it four times so far! Unfortunately, the pump I bought for it from Halfords was defective, so I've had to blow it up by mouth (no big deal, takes about ten minutes or so).
I've really enjoyed myself in it. I haven't found it particularly difficult to go in a straight line or maneuver (I'm not using a skeg or anything). I'm sure other canoes are better, but so long as it doesn't get a puncture, this is fine for me for now!

I bought this kayak earlier this year and for the price, it's great. I don't understand how people are having trouble with the Boston valves, you don't really need a special fitting. I blew it up with an electric pump with no fittings and then finished it off by mouth. Took about 5 minutes. I'd recommend buying a skeg as well, it helps with the steering a lot and you can go faster too.

Same problem as Steve initially but eventually found a connector.
Can't use it though cos the things so light it simply goes round in circles. Rubbish!

looks spot on, I thought what a great Christmas present, but how the hell do you inflate the thing. Already bought a pump but need an adaptor for these Boston valves, what a carry on.
