I use this on multi week kayaking trips. Quick to erect and pack away. Use it as a one man because I like plenty of space. Main advantage for me is head room that you get in dome tent. If stuck somewhere because of bad weather it's better than being stuck in a tunnel type tent like the banshee. As carried in my kayak it's weight is not a problem, although split between a couple of people hiking would be ok.
