Reviewed by Outdoor Man - 23rd Nov, 2017 A lot of watch for the money this is my 3rd Suunto watch in 2 years, not being a lover of them before, but they are getting better & better slowly. I still have my Suunto Traverse which is a great GPS watch but it doesn't have built in heart rate monitor, hence this purchase. Comparing the two, this is more light weight and sportier looking in it's bright blue livery, where the Traverse is more subtle and can be worn for business as well as pleasure. Unlike the Traverse, it doesn't have a compass and the bezel is very flat so the screen could be scratched more easily, where as the Traverse, the screen in set down in the bezel giving it more protection. Nice to be able to choose from 6 watch faces and add a bit of colour to the screen. Unfortunately the Suunto software for your PC is different to the Traverse which is annoying and you can only connect one watch to their Movescount app on your phone. (that is only a pain for me for having more than one Suunto) Having said that, the Movescount App is one of the worst in the business compared to TomTom & Garmin. Having 80 odd sports modes built in is great so there is something for everyone. Good battery life as well. All round another good watch from suunto and would be especially good for Triathletes.
