Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
- Place a sheet of paper on the floor and against a wall
- Make sure you are wearing the same socks that you would normally wear with this type of shoe
- Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
- Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
- Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Not worth the money
I have had 2 pairs of these boots. First pair were returned after 12 months, as not waterproof. Although very comfortable, no good if your feet are wet.
2nd pair also not waterproof after 18 months.
No longevity
Really comfy boots, at the start I could walk through streams no probs. But just over 1 year old and they're no longer waterproof. Reproofed with Nikwax, but made little difference. Waste of money.
were not waterproof
after 3 months of my wife , a 77 year old pensioner wearing the shoes for walking the dogs on level ground she found her feet were wet after the walk .I returned the shoes to go outdoors who sent them back to the supplier for checking .Two weeks later we got the agreement they were not waterproof and got a refund . Not happy , two weeks is too long to wait , my wife needed the shoes to be able to walk safely and had to use old shoes whilst we waited for the refund .
Great boots
Fantastic pair of boots. Might be a bit expensive but well worth the money. Lightweight, comfortable, waterproof & look pretty good too. I do a lot of walking as a DofE leader & assessor so needed a sturdy comfortable pair of boots..... found them ??
Excellent boots
I've only been wearing these for a couple of weeks so they haven't yet had the hammering I intend to subject them to but I love them - they are ridiculously comfortable and very waterproof. Also superb customer service in Swansea - knowledgeable advice but no pressure.

I was a bit uncertain about them as they looked chunky and 'too much boot' in the shop, but I found that out on the walk they provided lightweight but strong support. They are easy to loosen off when not climbing/hiking up hills and easy to tighten when you do.
Through bog and field my feet stayed dry and the boots cleaned off nicely afterwards.
I would definitely recommend them.
Great, comfy walking boots, bought as a replacement for very similar well-used 10-year-old pair of the same brand. Worn for most of a day just after purchase, with no blisters or other problems.
