Light, high-performance footwear for trails and via ferrata.

Great for fast, light approach use, the Scarpa Men's Epic Lite OD shoes deliver in both comfort and practicality.

With a Sock-Fit DVL by SCARPA® construction system, and Outdry® membrane for waterproofing and breathablility, the shoes handle a wide range of conditions and terrain excellently.

The Heel Tension system and lateral, thermo-welted TPU exoskeleton protects and supports the side of the foot - so demanding, inconsistent and rocky terrain is not an issue - and the rubber toe-cap is similarly useful against any sudden impact.

The Etilas outsole by Vibram® ensures fantastic grip and stability, whatever the approach throws at you.

Men's Scarpa Footwear Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet.

Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Comfy but ....

Comfortable at the outset with a good flex in the mid sole and strong toe section which helps in pushing forward but once again Scarpa heel area on the inside wore through. Go Outdoors gave a refund

OK but only OK.

I bought these for £60 and to be frank, had they been full price I'd have been bitterly disappointed. When I tried the shoes on they were a little snug but I opted to give them a go in the expectation that they would 'relax ' a little with wear. They did and to be fair they fit reasonably in terms of length and width. Where the shoes disappoint is the sole. Its thin! Despite being a Vibram, it doesn't stop you feeling every pebble and stone you stand on. Also, the insole just isn't up to the job. It offers little support and I gt the feeling the shoe was designed for a different insole. After a little wear, the heel has sunk a little and the sides of the shoe rub against the ankle join, not so that the.shoes become unwearable just sub-optimal. On the positive side, they keep my feet dry. Overall, they're ok but you'll be robbed if you pay more than £60 for them.

Good value in the sale

I had bought a cheaper pair of walking shoes, but took them back after a month, as the soles were wearing out. I got a refund and decided to spend a little more and noticed the sale price of these excellent shoes. The quality is incomparable with the shoes they replaced. You get what you pay for.

Comfortable shoe

I've had Scarpa boots before, and have been very pleased with how comfortable they were, and how well they've worn. I've not had these shoes long, but they are as comfortable as I had expected them to be. So far, very pleased with them.

Scarva Walking shoe

Great fit and very comfortable shoe. Well made and easy to get on and off due to the laces being easy to adjust

Really breathable

Very waterproof, very breathable all round the best shoe I've had. So far... But the only thing I would have to say is that the shoe bends in areally weird area and I am not sure about how this will affect the durability. But well see. Overall fantastic shoe.

Good shoe

This is a waterproof breatheable shoe that is very well made. I have an older scarpa similar shoe that is not nearly as robust. This shoe grips my bike pedals, is a good hill shoe and looks ok in the street .. so all in all a good performer

lightweight, tough shoes for walking and scrambling

I bought a pair of these lightweight Scarpa shoes as they provided a little bit of extra width compared to similar shoes from Haglofs and Salomon. I used them for a week of walking and scrambling in the Lake District. It rained for long periods and it was wet underfoot but my feet remained dry. The terrain was rugged and whilst we didn't walk too many miles I found the shoes very sturdy and am confident that the uppers will last. My one concern is that whilst the grip was good I will have to see how well the sole will wear.
