A low-cut walking shoe that gives you the underfoot support and protection you need for rugged mountain trails, approaches, via Ferrata and scrambles.
Scarpa Zodiac Shoes have the genes of a mountain boot, boasting rugged materials and clever construction that will keep you comfortable and well supported over rough terrain.
Their sock fit DV construction maintains an excellent heel fit, while the Vibram Drumlin Outsole keeps the weight down and enhances your comfort.
Cocona® fabrics are very breathable, cooling and remove moisture from each layer of an apparel system. It's a naturally derived permanent technology that never washes out or wears out.
SOCK FIT construction offers a fit as snug as a sock - the part comprising the tongue, flex-point and collar is a single piece of S-TECH SCHOELLER elastic technical fabric
ACTIV impact Technology absorbs negative impact with the ground, increasing shock-absorption and exploiting the energy you use during activity
AUTOFIT COLLAR ensures the maximum adaptability and comfort of the upper, reducing the impact stress that rests on the Achilles and malleous area, giving you great performance and comfort on any terrain
Sole: Vibram Drumlin Last: BN Upper: 1.8mm Water-Resistant Suede Lining: 37.5 by Cocona Weight: 960g per pair (size 42)
Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.
We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.
Bought these shoes as I was really impressed with the Scarpa boots I bought for fell walking. The sock fit is brilliant and unbelievably comfortable, wouldn’t worry about tackling any hill in these shoes ( mountains I’d always use my boots). They may cost slightly more but the quality is great and well worth that little bit extra.
