Women's Footwear Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet.

Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Not as good as when they were Brasher brand

These have been my go-to boots for decades but this is the first time I've bought them since they were taken over by Bergahus. While they look similar, they are nowhere near as comfortable and in fact after walking just three miles I was in agony as the ridge of the cuff on the inside of the boot (who needs one there?) was pressing against my ankle bones. I cannot wear them at all so a total waste of money. Very sad.

Berghaus supalite ii walking boots

Best boots I have found. No need to 'break in', extremely comfortable straight away. No seams so no leaks. Good padding around ankle and cuff area. My last pair I wore every day for over 2 years in my outdoor job and are still going but just a little tired. Would definately reommend

Fabulous Boots

Bought for me for Christmas 2016.
Normally size 4 but these are size 5.
Tried on in the shops with my hiking socks on.
After trying 5 pairs of different makes I kept going back to the Bergaus superlite boots.
Fit like a glove - can hardly tell they're on.
I walked 20 miles over the holidays in the lakes on rough terrain and muddy fields, slippery slopes and coastal pathways in chilly sub- zero and breezy conditions.
They are fabulous - no leaks or blisters.
Clean with a damp cloth and polish.
Would highly recommend.

Finally ...

.. a waterproof boot. I have had two pairs of synthetic 'waterproof' boots in the last 5 years and both leaked at the joint where the crease over the toes was, so I had to compromise my veggie principles and go for leather and one piece over the toes. They are perfect. They have been worn every day for two months and coped with long wet grass, forest trails, bog and roads no problem. One slight sore area at the back of boot the first time I wore them, then it softened off. Highly recommended. I bless that poor cow every time I wear them....

Excellent

I've had these boots for three years now and they have so far not given me one single blister. They have been through bogs, clambered over rock falls, trekked through the Amazon and up to the top of their fair share of hills and kept my feet dry and comfortable through it all. Interestingly I did originally buy a pair of hillmasters which rubbed my heels horrifically to the point I had to live in flip flops for over two weeks until my feet had healed. I took them back to the store at which point the assistant took one look at my feet and said they were completely the wrong boot as my feet are far too narrow (hence the blisters). Despite the fact they were fitted and sold to me at that store they could not exchange them for a more suitable pair. I ended up emailing brasher (complete with lovely photos of my blisters) who straight away agreed to exchange them for a more suitable model. In my experience blisters don't always reflect the quality of the boot but probably just mean they aren't the right boot for your feet. I'm so happy I found these and I'm confident they will keep my feet pain free whatever I decide to tackle next
