Men's Footwear Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Best outdoor walking shoe...

Best outdoor walking shoe for the money. Only down side is that Karrimor is owned by JD sports and that is owned by a complete w****r.

These shoes are sturdy,...

These shoes are sturdy, comfortable and smart. I have broad feet and these fit me well. The soles are firm and provide very good grip. I haven't yet had occasion to test how waterproof the uppers are, but a previous similar pair performed very well, so I am confident these will too. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Arrived very quickly for click and collect. Very comfortable and good fit, slightly large if anything so good for thicker walking sockets. Very easy to put on and take off too, unlike some footwear I have that needs a shoehorn to put on.
Only worn in dry conditions so far so cannot comment on how waterproof they are.
Overall very happy with these. Would buy again.

They are NOT waterproof...

They are NOT waterproof this is the 2nd pair of Karrimore trainers I have purchased that were advertised as waterproof but both different styles aren’t very wet feet I thought Karrimore was a good make the advert which says waterproof I thought this had to be correct, false information very disappointed

This is a second...

This is a second pair, first have good grip and comfortable, waterproof so far, wearing well on the sole - inside is a different issue but the user walks on edges of his feet. To try and counter this have added quick tie laces, will see how they go.

Not as good as previous shoes.

I bought these as I have had this style of shoes from Karrimor before, in brown. I only have had them some months and the sole had worn down really quickly on both shoes, finally going into holes.

Very Disappointed.

I've now had these shoes for a few months.Today I went for a 50 minute walk along the promenade in heavy rain.My feet were soaking.I shall not buy this brand again. If I had the receipt I would return.

Bodmin IV low shoe.

Cheap. Heavy, impossible to get good lace tension. Scruffy looking, Aching feet after 8 miles. Sore spots but not actually blisters. The waterproof liner hasn't really been tested during the 20 miles I've worn them. Unlikely to as the liner already has a hole in it and they're in the bin.

The jury's out: 8.5.18

I purchased a pair of size 8s in the autumn of 2017 ready for the winter. I used them for dog walking and found them to be about 95% waterproof. I already had plantar faciitis in my left heel, so when I needed to start using orthotics to ease the pain, I decided to buy another pair of these in a size 9. These turned out to be only about 50% waterproof and I recently returned them to the store and got a full refund. I'm now using the size 8s again without orthotics, and putting up with a bit of dampness. I do wish manufacturers wouldn't make claims for their products which clearly aren't true. Something for trading standards to look in to?

Good for the money

Well at the price what do you expect. Actually they are tuff with good grip. The only issue I have is the fit around my ankle bone. Fortunately I had an old pair of sorbothane inners which raised my ankle up enough to make them comfotable.
