I love wearing walking boots every day because ive got funny shaped feet and they need a lot of support. I knew i wanted brown and purple because they are my favourite colours so these tick all those aesthetic boxes but they also dont look too in your face "im going on a hike through the mountains" they do look quite casual but also rugged enough to still look like youre an outdoorsy person but i digress. These boots are heaven. As soon as i tried them on i had to get them and its worth the money i wear these day in day out and my feet are supported comfortable and happy. I wore them from new straight to a festival when i was walking about for 4 days straight and didnt get a single blister or sore feet. Highly recommend the only reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because (please forgive the grossness) perhaps there is a shortage of ventilation as i have to dry them on the radiator to avoid smelly feet (i dont have smelly feet) but they tend to hold the moisture from foot sweat, whereas other boots ive had in the past dont. The boots are 100% waterproof ive walked through long wet grass for hours in them with dry feet (apart from the sweat). Overall the best purchase of the year very much worth it , i love my merrells and i hope they last a long long time but when they die i will surely buy another pair.
